Either way, in this story he's still ill and who knows how long he has to live before he succumbs to his illness. I guess holding on to getting his daughter justice has kept him going in the shadows. Makes me wonder if Hye Ji knew the chairman was alive and was working for him since we never found out who she was texting.

Yes, they did have to film the outcomes for the choices. One was like which dress to wear, so she had two options and tried both on.
IDK if you've ever read books that are choose your own adventure/interactive with choices - The game will play like a drama but then you will have to choose whether to do A, B, C or some are A or B options then based on your option, you get an outcome and it goes on and on like that. Some choices might cause you death though LOL so if you choose wrong and die, you can be "reborn" and end up in the scene where you had to make choices and then choose again and hope to move forward and not die LOL
