They've really messed up with the plot and character development. I know it's a makjang but most usually have a trajectory even with the grey/gray characters or people that switch sides depending on where the wind is blowing. The only consistent character has been Evil Queen NanSook and her Magical Mirror aka Chef. At this point, I would rather watch her take both "Kingdoms".

They've hinted his bad persona seems to be put on and fake but I guess we will find out why. A lot of our characters seem to have dual or more personas.
