Nobody really care about the face of dead body. He wasn't sure Naksu was the girl he liked when he was a teen. He only realized later in part 1.

Both JBY and Naksu were Mu Deok. JBY was MD before soul shift. Naksu was MD after soul shift. Naksu's soul is alive in (JBY/MD)'s body right now. JBY's soul is gone if they don't any changes later.
