The acting in this asadora is good, and super fun. Akari Takaishi as Toki is a huge highlight, super charismatic personality and mannerism. I'm adoring seeing her character talking to herself and to "someone invisible". Did you notice it?

Week 9 Episode 45.
This ending was so cute!
The romance started, in a subtly way. But is still a mystery to me, what will make Lafcadio notice Toki and fall for her.

Episode 40, but I'm thinking about this for some time...
Toki Matsuno is not... "bright of mind", isn't she? She is a bit dumb and slow learner. At first I was a bit bothered by Lafcadio behavior, I didn't imagined the real one to be so irritable and crass, but now I want to get my hand on Toki's neck and apply pressure sometimes!

I first wanted to watch it RAW with the CC subtitles, to learn. But is a bit of a pain paying supper attention to each word, translating the subtitles, because this asadora is too much fun. So I stopped.
But I gave up waiting for a proper released, I'm getting the RAWs again, converting to play smoother on my under powered notebook, and trowing the subtitle file into an online translator. Of course, there's a lot of things that it gets wrong, but is supor obvious to guess right by the context, and I can always chance to the CC subtitle at any time to see the works is apparent it didn't translated right.
Any person with between basic to intermediate knowledge of Japanese can translate this.

Is difficulty for me to sympathize with Tae's situation.

Absurd! She believes that just for being alive other have to work for her and take care of her? Give her respect? She needs correction! Her lowering her head in this episode was not something "sad", it was good, progress! I hope the story makes it clear how wrong her worldview is and that the character makes some real progress, or die in the wrong.

And is just my impression, or Toki values her biological family more than her adoptive family? So she won't "prostitute" herself for her adoptive, but she will for her biological? Is that it? Or just the difference that the adoptive family don't need help, but the biological do and can't survive is she doesn't sacrifice herself?

And there's Lafcádio... How much did the writes changed his real story? In this story was he married, I think two times? Did he lived in New Orleans?

In episode 4, that was the same actor playing Todo Seigo? They used makeup or digital deaging?

Episode 3 left me conflicted.
It's a good thing that Asuka isn't unbeatable from the beginning, but going from mediocre to almost master level in maybe too weeks? The worst thing is that would be preferable if that was the case, but the episode made she become this good this fast only to lose by mental illness in the last match.
