To me this was a 4 even after 2 eps, am I stupid to them that zi watch something just because of clichè or handsome actor, this is just offensive. I STILL SEARCH FOR SOMETHING PURE LIKE OUR MOVIE, i hope 2026 stop with these craps story weird kdramas
The pairing was great, but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to save the drama. The story is boring, slow, and dragged out, with too much politics and very little real character development. The body swap and red string of fate had potential but were used in a shallow and unconvincing way.
The pacing, especially in the middle, is exhausting, with constant over explaining that kills any emotional impact. Visually polished, but overall not engaging. I finished it mainly for the leads’ chemistry, not because the story was compelling.
It met my expectations overall, especially considering it is a spin off of Hidden Love. I watched it as a standalone drama with only minimal connections to the original, which helped me enjoy it more.
That said, at times it felt slow, dragged out, and even boring. Some parts were unnecessarily stretched, and I pushed myself to finish it quickly because I was close to putting it on standby. Personally, I would have preferred something more dynamic, probably because I had set my expectations on a Love’s Ambition type of vibe.
Plot twists and strong performances define this drama, centered on Ahn Yun-su, a teacher involved in her husband’s murder. The real strength lies in the relationship between Yun-su and Mo-eun, a mysterious woman who appears to “help” her, constantly blurring the line between protection and manipulation.
The series is not a classic investigation drama but focuses on manipulation, emotional dependency, guilt, fear, and toxic relationships, where nothing is purely right or wrong. The unsettling chemistry between the two female leads maintains tension throughout. Although the motive behind the crime feels weak, it remains an engaging watch that keeps you curious until the end.
