I totally agree with you! I binged the whole series yesterday and got completely hooked. Honestly, the only thing…
couldn't agree more with all your points <3 i think i generally have a thing for all the Ohm's at this point XD i also can't wait for Roommate Chaos, i think it's gonna be lots of fun hehe ^^ wait you're right, i never really paid attention, but why don't they turn the lights off when sleeping? help now i can't unnotice it :D
am gonna do an emotional dump here re this series!! very unlike me, but am very pissed and frustrated at the lack…
1. the only good thing that happened in this series was shin+shin's sister+asuka... 2. minato was aware that shin is a minor, but still felt attracted to him! he didn't act on his attraction, but the issue is still there! 3. shin was so super in love with minato from the beginning. every time he took a step forward, minato took 10 steps backwards. at first i thought it's because shin was a minor, or that minato is a bottom; but hell nah, it was because of minato's "complicated" past, and personality issues (e.g. running away from problems, commitment issues, low self-esteem, etc.). 4. never once minato was clear about his intentions with shin, while shin was showing so much patience, EQ, and maturity, despite his young age. 5. after shin turned 18 and graduated, again minato went into the loop of being unclear and awkward about his feelings. 6. through season 1, minato was 28 years old, so 10 years age gap with shin, but not once he acted like an adult. 7. only after being 100% sure that shin has chosen a better life/future, and wanting to move to tokyo, minato suddenly wanted to confess to shin properly. like? are you trying to ruin that kid's future with your last-minute confession? ts is not even romantic... 8. the series felt so much longer than 12 episodes, because there was nothing happening, absolutely nothing. all confessions were being rejected, ignored, or dismissed. the only "successful" confession was what we got at the end of episode 12. 9. i started season 2 now with the hopes of seeing a lovey-dovey minato+shin, only to understand that after 3 months of being together, they haven't even held hands, and minato still cannot describe his emotions to shin. it's still shin who is running and running, and feeling tired and depressed and desperate, all by his own. while minato is still acting innocent and clueless... 10. in season 2, for minato's 29th birthday, shin is very clear and mature to ask him what he wants in his personal and professional life. minato says he wants a broom and a watch. shin goes and buys the exact things that minato wishes. he even took a part-time job to be able to afford that watch, despite his difficult medical studies!! now in season 1, for shin's 18th birthday, minato bought the first, smallest, and ugliest doll he could find in a random store. he couldn't ask shin, because of the surprise element, BUT he could have easily asked shin's sister or the store staff for guidance...this made me so mad idk...
conclusion: minato is the perfect example of weaponized incompetence in men. just because he wasn't in love first, he doesn't seem to care that much about how shin feels!!
am gonna do an emotional dump here re this series!! very unlike me, but am very pissed and frustrated at the lack of healthy communication and emotional maturity from minato's side, despite his high age... am honestly only giving this series a 7 because of shin's immense love and loyalty towards minato...
hey, no worries, you can totally have your own opinion on this topic!! but as i'm not sure if you know stray kids: their normal balance games are surrounding the members, and it's been like that for years now. e.g. "do you prefer to take care of a 5-years-old hyunjin, or a 5-years-old changbin", something of that sort. but for lee know who is an avid japanese anime fan, and takes watching them very seriously, to improve his language skills, asking us about "poop-flavored curry", this is just too specific, don't you think? again, you are entitled to you own opinion on this, as a k-pop idol anyways doesn't have the liberty to come out as a "fudanshi", but it's on you to take their hints as you wish ^^
HELP ME how was hiro the top? until those nc scenes i could swear hiro would be the bottom 😩 tbfr tho, from a personality perspective, it all made so much more sense after finding out that hiro was the top. but visually, it was (and still is) a shock 😭 i kinda wanna watch it all from the beginning to savor hiro being the top 🤣
this!! i really went into it scared, because of the hate it has been receiving for years now. but KanghanSailom's…
you get me 🥹 i'm also super happy you did watch, it's a waste not to 💕
i was watching sing and chimon together in gmm live house the other day (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D2HXcYLpWao), and they were just so giggly and soft and cute with each other. i love them already. sing was looking after chi so well. anyways with Match Point filming starting soon, hopefully we get some official announcements for them. let's not lose our hope hehe. fully LOCKED IN with you 🙂↕️💯
hehe lee know did a balance game on Fans a few months ago (mid-2025?)!! he was asking us if we prefer "curry that tastes like poop" or "poop that tastes like curry"!! i swear he is too cute 😭 even if he can't explicitly say he has watched BL anime/series, he has hinted at it a few times so far 🥹💕
no, i wouldn't say a sad ending. it's just as you expect from a gay ghost (pp krit), and a straight man (billkin). they are very affectionate towards each other tho, and protect/help each other, especially towards the end, but that's it. it's not a "gay romance" (hence the tag not being used here), but more of a bromance(?). but you anyways feel the love between the ghost and the man. please watch it, you won't regret it, i'm sure <3
so happy that netflix de finally added this!! as expected from billkinpp, they are absolutely brilliant, no matter the project!! the storyline was really nice, and their chemistry was super cute!! i was laughing at first, then crying-laughing (and almost choking XD), and then just crying towards the end. overall, very funny, with a beautiful touching ending 🥹 also, pp and milli's "wake up call" that was used for that dance face-off in the gay bar is such a feel good and happy song. it's been on loop for hours now. i love it 🙂↕️
omfg when Keishi was sharing how he found out that Suzume was also gay like him, i was sobbing. i should be really careful where my eyes go in the office too. my problem is doubled tho, cause i'm bi...
with those foxes, this suddenly became a "fantasy" genre XD it was still cute tho!! overall, i did prefer the Thai version, but this was wroth a shot too. i love Shoma sm ^^
Watched this in one sitting. Didn't expect to laugh and to cry. I haven't cry in a bl drama for so long. But the…
riiight? every time Tane opened his mouth, my heart was melting at how brilliant and cute he is. such a good actor already at his young age, and he portrayed his character so well.
Agree with you on Shirasaki always making things about himself which annoys me especially with the final episode,…
totally!! here is the thing, if a certain personality type is acknowledged in the series, i can live with it and ignore it. for example, if Asami asked Shirasaki why in the world would he bring up his career development and professional jealousy when they were literally speaking Asami's childhood, this would have been fine with me. but the fact that Shirasaki was absolutely self-centered, with almost no respect towards Asami's feelings, and no one officially acknowledged it, i surely consider this a character flaw due to poor writing; UNLESS, this was somehow dissected in the manga, and wasn't explored much in the series. but to me, this was really important, cause at some point, it felt to me that Asami was carrying the whole relationship on his shoulders alone, instead of it being a teamwork...
What does the title "At 25:00, in Akasaka" mean? (Was this mentioned in season 1 and I just forgot?)
oh i googled the exact same question when i was watching this. it wasn't really mentioned anywhere in the series. but Akasaka was where they were hanging out most often, and it's a district in Tokyo most known for TV studios & entertainment industry. also, in Japan they apparently call 1am the 25th hour. a time that's not really night, nor morning- just in between. and this is where and when the main couple can be the most at ease, and be themselves. i'll also paste below the exact wording:
The title "At 25:00, in Akasaka" refers to the late-night (1:00 AM) setting in the Tokyo district of Akasaka, symbolizing a hidden, intimate, and often vulnerable time for the main characters—an actor and his co-star—to blur the lines between their on-screen BL romance and real-life relationship, away from the public eye.
Symbolism of Time and Place: 25:00 ( = 1:00 AM in Japan) represents a time when the city is quiet, allowing the characters, Shirasaki and Hayama, to shed their public personas and connect deeply.
The Meeting Spot: The "Akasaka" setting highlights the specific, often hidden, urban locations—including a gay bar—where the characters meet, away from the prying eyes of the media and fans.
A "Forbidden" Space: The title reflects the story's theme of finding a private, safe space for romance in a high-pressure, public-facing, professional world.
I wouldn't say it was a sad ending tbh. It's actually kinda cute. My main issue was that it wasn't portrayed in…
ahhh ur comment is super helpful, i'm not so scared anymore to give it a shot!! am definitely gonna watch it next. also, maybe now that i'm binging it, it would be easier for me to follow along with the timelines and orders. so i'll stay hopeful not to get confused hehe. thanks a lot again lovely xx
this was so cute, short, and sweet. i totally recommend it <3 also, tutoryim was there for like 1 millisecond? and for what? how are they related to this project? i don't get that part, but my eyes were blessed anyways hehe ^^
ahhh i waited long for this to finish airing, so i can binge-watch it; but going through comments, the ending does not seem to satisfy majority. i'm so indecisive when it comes to ambiguous/sad endings, and comments are not helping. i wanna cry, i LOVE billybaby so much actually!
just finished watching this, and knowing that Lee Know was also a fan of this BL makes it even more special to me. i loved their relationship, and their cute chemistry. definitely a no-brainer comfort show to re-watch later <3
