anyways this will remain as one of my top KBLs. i think they wrapped everything up perfectly, and i liked the leads' acting too, especially that they are both still quite new in the industry.

good that i overlooked the rating, cause i absolutely adored Naoya and Takaaki's dynamics, and how their relationship evolved over the years!! also, Naoya had a very strong character, and it was so refreshing to watch the couple's healthy communication style (after properly opening up to each other). even Goto brothers had a really healthy relationship, while their relationship could've easily become filled with jealousy and toxicity. so to me, everything was wrapped up beautifully, and i cannot wait for the special episode in 2 weeks!!

for me the absolute peak of the drama were eps 3 and 4, funny yet touching!! i wish they continued random ghost stories till the end, but i get why the focus had to change. i also would have loved if they didn't make *that person* so evil in the end, but whatever!! it was still an easy 9 outa 10 for me, because it got me super hooked.

on ep 1, and i absolutely hate the nc scenes already. for it to work, Kaji should have a deeh size of at least 50cm, bcz they are so far apart from e/o while having s3x, that it wouldn't make sense otherwise. where is the director? where is the s3x coordinator? we needa talk cause wtf is ts...also those dead-fish-kisses are so funny to me ngl...

i was just in Tor Atagorn's TT live, and he was speaking abt this series. what a cutie he is. he explained that the series is abt love, friendship, family, etc. he said we can't categorize it as "y-series", but it still has a bit of BL element. i wonder if it's more BL or Bromance, as he said we cannot say it's "y"? anyone who is watching this can share more details pls?

i just added "Every You, Every Me" as a rec, cause The Missing Sunshine reminds me so much of ep 1 storyline. i wish all BL fans gave EYEM a chance. it was so beautiful <3

this is so Never Let Me Go coded in some ways i can't explain. knowing that NLMG is still Pond's fave series to this day and now we will have this masterpiece just heals something in me.

i consider this a very calm slice-of-life series. while it was not a masterpiece from a writing and sometimes directing perspective, i consider tutoryim's acting very fitting to the characters and the plot that they were casted to portray. they did so well, and worked well with whatever they had on that d4mn script.

also pasting below the definition of this genre because i see many call it "plotless", while i wonder what do they expect from a romantic slice-of-life drama with mature characters. i actually would argue that the fire and drama with ex was even too much, and some of yall saying it was "plotless". okayyy!!
