unlike many in the comments and reviews, i actually liked the storyline. it was quite realistic and slow-paced, and what made it special was the kind people around them (e.g. co-workers, etc.). some of their family members were a bit problematic causing them all sorta traumas, but that also wrapped up nicely. i do have complains about those silly little kisses though. we can't even call it a kiss, that wasn't even a peck. they were barely touching lips, and i repeat, BARELY. how was that the final cut, i also don't know honestly!! anyways, for me, it was an easy 8 outa 10.
loved this series!! enough "darkness", and enough playfulness. the chemistry between couples, and also between all 5 of them in their friend group was also top notch. literally a bunch of cuties!! also, i really went into it expecting zero good kiss scenes (based on my experience with some of p'new past works), but i was pleasantly surprised. seeing that they are all young actors, i cannot complain about those kiss scenes actually hehe. cannot wait for their upcoming works š
Mai going into the water in the last scene- man really said fine, I'll merge with the sea then. Becoming one with…
i really laughed out loud at your comment. bless you, ur so funny šāāļøš¤£ i was so sad that he is lonely, especially with that "phone wire around his neck" scene, that i literally went into yupee's account to remind myself that jj has a fine af girl in his real life š this has actually become my routine every time i finish a series of him, so my heart is not so "broken" for him LMFAO
Iām on episode 4 and I gotta say, Iām more invested in the side couple/friends than the main one (although…
oh you mean SurfJava? they are so cute and flirty on and off screen, with great chemistry, so i totally agree with you hehe. they do have a series together, coming out early Feb, so make sure to check it out, "MuTeLuv: Love Me if You Swear".
while you wait, you can also watch "MuTeLuv: Hi by My Luck", which is also from the same anthology, starring SeaKeen. they were also super lovely there.
from 2026 gmm line-up, SurfJava will also be in "Roommate Chaos", as one of the 3 main couples. can't wait for that one also, i already miss them.
and, last but not least, JJ is also starring in "Me and Thee", so while you wait you can already watch that too. the series will finish airing in 2 days, so it's the perfect timing, if you loved him too.
i absolutely loved this series!! all the cps were wonderful, with great chemistry. i also really like how they didn't have a "final" fast forward to the future, and left us with a happy ending for the present. the future is unpredictable anyways, so keeping it uncertain makes total sense.
also, flute will be directing a new gl series in 2026, so i'm looking forward to that one as well. i miss mook so much, and can't wait to have her as the lead again ^^
somehow i wanted Asami to be loved more. i wanted Yuki to treat him properly as a lover, not rival or a senior in the filming industry. i wanted Asami to be understood more, and be empathized with more. i wanted him to be hugged properly at least once, especially when Yuki made him cry. it honestly bothered me that every time he tried to open up to Yuki about his worries and concerns, Yuki successfully made things about himself. i think, part of it was due to Yuki's low self-esteem; but i expected that to be increased through the series, which i didn't see it happen. makes me wonder if this was the reason that Asami never called Yuki by his first name, despite Yuki calling him by his since S1.
anyways, overall a very beautiful, enjoyable, and realistic ride, but there is a bitter aftertaste that i feel, thinking about some of Yuki's actions in S2. but S1 was brilliant. Hiru no Yume was super cute too, all with great chemistry, beautiful kiss scenes, and detailed character developments ^^
wait i just got the netflix notification that this is upcoming, and thought the guy looks so much like daou help XD i had absolutely no idea daou is gonna be there, good thing i checked. can't wait to watch ^^
No, I guess this is all these actors were willing to do. It's different in every show.
omg i remember ''The Novelist'' and ''Mood Indigo'' as the extreme examples of JBL, despite watching them 6/7 years ago. i totally agree with your take on them being very mature XD
ohhh never heard of ''The End of the World With You'', and i just added it to my list. thanks a lot for the recommendation. definitely gonna enjoy that <3
this was such a beautiful refreshing ride. i honestly miss them already, and can't wait for all the cps' 2026 works. their chemistry was topnotch to me, and their characters' communication style and problem-solving abilities, despite their young age, was honestly one of the best out there.

really? but you know what's funny? i just finished watching Love Begins in the World of If, and even their kisses are more like cute pecks. but i haven't yet watched that many JBLs, so good to know that there are more mature kisses out there, so i don't generalize this hehe. thanks for the reply xx
