He could have been an illegitimate child. It wouldn't be recognized legally, but they could still be true blood…
that is true, and i understand now that the majority of the critiques comes from the fact that Jeong Han went into this whole thing while being under the impression that Il Jo is his "real" cousin. i guess it can be rooted to cultural knowledge differences and personal beliefs now. cause i know for a fact that marriage among cousins is a real thing in some asian countries, to "keep the blood pure among the family". i personally am not a fan of this concept either, but the negative reviews were confusing me. if this was the reason, then i'm all clear. thanks for the reply xx
but he didn't know that though.. he was fine with being with him even when he assumed they were cousins lol

loved this 🥹 my winner was "reset", and i'm not surprised hehe. also i noticed that i have a few dramas to add to my list, that i haven't even heard about this year. thanks for the game 💖
this was so cute, i need more of them and their relationship :( also i have comments re: the kiss scenes. they reminded me of the kiss scene in Punks Triangle. why don't they open their mouths properly, and just do pecks? is it a JBL thing, or are they following the manga? i'm really curious, and while i'm super bad at reading, maybe i should give the manga a try to compare. has anyone here read the manga?

btw i wonder if there is any talks about a special episode or something for this series? i feel like the ending kept a few details open (future career, etc.), and we could have had more time with the lead cp. i will comeback to give a higher rating, if we actually get a special, to properly wrap up those details.
this was so pretty, and i loved how they fell for each other. also, i would have normally said daou was such a pushover idiot for being forgiving so many times, but then again, i would have done the exact same thing, knowing how much of a romantic i am. good for them lmfao. now i already miss my daouoffroad. what do i do :(
you still haven't watched it yet, right? it has a happy ending. their relationship is super beautiful, give it…
haha no worries lovely, and ur not alone, cz i also always make sure of the happy ending before i start a series. shedding a few tears during the series is totally fine, but a happy ending is a must for me too hehe. hope u enjoy this when u get to watch it đź’–
was i the only one who didn't get disappointed at the cousin fake-plot? from the very 1st episode it is apparent that Iljo is not the real son of his dad, cause there was conversations about how he was not officially added to the family tree due to circumstances. we then get to actually understand those circumstances in the last 2 episodes. so if you know from the very beginning that they are not blood cousins, and not even real cousins (aka officially adopted), why would it be a turn off for you? i have been genuinely curious about this. also some asian countries have weddings and arranged marriages between blood-cousins, and i genuinely hate that; especially if you want to have kids later in life, which genetically is not recommended at all. that's why i got even more confused hearing people's disappointment, when these 2 aren't even real/blood cousins...
For most of the series, I found myself tearing up, half from sadness, and half from joy. Chosen Home is such a beautiful, heart-warming story, and it gently yet honestly touches on so many real-life issues: LGBTQ+ experiences, parenthood, teenage struggles, inclusion, women in the workplace, housing, and the importance of seeing ourselves represented in real life. There are even more themes woven in, and many of them felt deeply personal to me, which makes it especially hard to let go of this series.
I don’t know if I’m wishing for too much, but a second season would be amazing; one that explores the lead couple’s relationship as they settle into their (new) home, Tamaki’s high school life and side job, and the character growth of the guitar workshop’s grandson.
I also gasped when I learned that Tamaki is only 15 years old. She was truly brilliant in this role, and is already such a remarkable actress. I can’t wait to see her future work.
March has such a special place in my heart, bcz he was the one that introduced me to the BL industry in 2013. i still remember him and his character in Hormones. i really hope he gets the chance to act in more BL series. also Fluke is so precious and beautiful. hands down he has one of the most beautiful smiles in the industry, and he gets even prettier as he ages.
seeiw's mindset is so healthy and strong, i'm so jealous! of course, he has gone through a lot, but to me he is very mature, despite his age. also, santa and earth's chemistry was so beautiful, and fresh to watch <3 i probably won't be re-watching the whole series, as it's rather heavy for me, but will go back to watch pieces of their relationship. loved all the side couples, too. afterday is so talented, i wish to see more of her works ^^
ahhh cannot wait for the upcoming special episodes. i really need more of them. they are so cute together, with a great chemistry! also not only the leads, but the whole group of friends are great actors imo <3 anyways am sure i will re-watch this when i need some light-hearted fluff. also, their communication style was just brilliant for me, no lengthy misunderstandings, or hidden feelings. and everyone in their circle was so supportive and understanding, that it became a cherry on top. i hope everyone will give this series a chance ^^
this was my introduction to tutoryim, and i was not disappointed. loved the other cps too. also tutor's character, shan, was so cute, dependable, and honest with his feelings. he made my heart so soft! really love to see more work of tutoryim together in 2026 ^^
I shared my full thoughts on the series in a detailed review, exploring its romance, performances, and emotional…
Such a beautiful review, and such a realistic POV. I genuinely loved reading it, thank you for sharing 🤍 I just finished rewatching ATOTS after five years, and despite its flaws, it’s still one of my top BLs. Seeing the behind-the-scenes and learning about all the difficulties during filming, especially with the locations and weather, really made it clear why P’Aof and EarthMix are pillars not only of GMMTV, but of the industry itself.
omfg?? i came to casually write i really miss em and need these cps asap, and u gave me a detailed timeline??…
ik ik dw but the timeline makes so much sense actually!! also just knowing that we will get to see this in the 1st quarter of 2026 is honestly more than enough for me. thanks again <3
