Calm and nice.
This is how I would described Love O2O. Nothing more, nothing less. To be honest, there is not much to say about the serie ? Even though it has 24 episodes, not much happens there. Unfortunately, the producers did not do their best. The story is interesting and seems to be like a cute chinese High School Musical Drama .... about gamers ?
Two other love stories are woven between the slowly developing romance. Together with scenes from "The Chinese Ghost Story" the series happens to be more interesting. Problem is that Love O2O is more meant for teenagers than for adults. It is extremely ?sweet and innocent? and it's even too much at some point. It is saturated with awkward hugs, random kisses and funny heroes' conversations trying to relieve the tension between them (and their bodies because after all they're over 20! ). The most brutal action takes place in the game ? where characters constantly fight monsters. It is an interesting cutscene in the series, it distracts from its reality. Even if you do not like this type of filming, it is worth focusing on the game because it introduces some important information to the plot.
