I found the second leads are cringe. Especially when they went to her ex bf mother together.
Got to agree the Leads make the show, and leads tend to be a bit more work to watch. Which I find is why I find so many people always say they prefer the 2nd leads in shows. I think in some shows the 2nd leads are lighter and funner because the writers don't need to put in as much thought to them as they do the leads, so obviously they will seem easier to digest.
I still have 15 minutes of episode 9 left, but I'm starting to dislike ML's EX-wife. Married less than a year and she wants a divorced because he had to stay in Korea to care for his dying mother who is also her mothers best friend and help his fathers business. They could have got back together once he had that sorted.
I wonder who she met while studying in the U.S her current husband ? I find that a little distasteful and callous of her.
I hope that's not the case because dramas have this habit of maligning past relationships as if the only relationship…

I was a little annoyed that all the antagonists get a pass and happy ending even helped by the ML and FL. Seriously your cheating Ex who was also a mistress, your Cheating Ex's mistress etc etc.
At least Li Shi Yu was good at business if she never knew FL''s BF was taken I would have been fine with her ending. The only ones that I kinda of felt bad for was Director Fang and ML's assistant.
I guess it's is showing reality, cheaters and mistresses and people who commit fraud etc tend to get away with it, Just would have been better if they never helped them out in the last few episodes.
Up to episode 23 - and if I'm being honest Dang Yu is getting a little annoying. I like you but I won't change my life. Both people compromise to be with each other lol She'd be single for life just casual hook up's otherwise. Hope she gets common sense soon Jun Cheng is the only one doing anything changing his entire behaviour, moved out of his parents etc and she won't lift a finger if it means changing the position of her hand lol
I'm glad Jing Jing and Lu Ze were only apart for like a episode or 2. I was a little annoyed at first, I was Ok with her breaking it off at first, but when he closed his business down letting down his employees etc, and she wouldn't taken him back that wasn't on. I mean it was his life's work before he met her and forgive him for not being able to give up on it in the heat of the moment, he did the right thing once he calmed down and was able to think rationally about it. It's almost like women haven't been expected to give up their careers for family and been hesitant to do, with some even abandoning men they claim they loved for their career,
He sacrificed his dream for her and No still not enough LOL True all it took was for her to get drunk and she took him back but I found that a little irritating.
Haven't really any problems with main couple at all to be fair, they were both a bit stand offish, due to her not wanting to repeat mistakes (bit silly as she wouldn't live otherwise always worrying about that), and him due to his history etc age, divorce.
The 2nd couple hasn't been enough to decide so far, I have noticed comments moaning about her still moping about her ex, well it can't have been too long a few weeks maybe a month, but I like that bit and the new guy helping her deal with it, the only thing I didn't like was she never confronted her Ex and out him too his new GF who needs to know before she has been with him too long. If I got with a new girl who was cheating with me before dumping her BF and I never knew I would want to be told so I could dump her cheating ar*e and not waste my time on people like that.
It's a small thing but this really really annoys me so please let me rant. I'm enjoying this drama overall. But…
