That scene was incredibly well acted. I can't wait to see Zhou Ye in other dramas, I can't imagine any of the other idol actresses putting so much heart into that scene. She made me feel both her rage and her sorrow. It was amazing.

Oh I hate cringe and juvenile as well... try NIF2, its actually a great sequel almost as good as NIF. You may also like The Rise of Phoenixes, The Bad Kids and Winter Begonia (if BL adaptions are ok for you).

Yups it can be a lot of money but that is the capped or maximum amount which usually only is hit in high budget dramas, not low budget ones like this. That is why I think it is ok for fans to expect good performances from the actors, they get paid good money. And when they win endorsements and ad campaigns etc due to their popularity the amounts are MUCH bigger. I really hope GJ and ZZH get lots of ad work post this drama, they deserve to make some money out of this.
