Yeah even though I don't watch slow mo, I can usually pick out the stunt doubles. He does a lot of the sequences himself but not the really tricky ones. I don't think he's been properly trained for those so it doesn't bother me. I prefer him to stay safe.😅

I don't know if he does all the stunts himself - In 1 or 2 scenes in S1 or S2 I could have sworn I saw a body double. But he is a terrific actor, very good at conveying layers without words. This was especially evident in his Eternal Brotherhood role where he says one thing and means something else. As another viewer once pointed out, he was the only one who managed to make Guo Jing seem like he deserved Huang Rong. Its too bad his career got so badly derailed by scandal.

I think a wedding is around the corner. He is very protective of her reputation bc he is now not only from the uppity Lu clan but openly the Grand Princess’s son. His wife must be of his social standing thus his immediate objection to her fronting the susha business. And she totally gets why too. I am not a fan of romance most of the time but this one evolved in a way that makes me smile.
