Totally! TTEOM’s direction is not that bad it’s the script writer that needs a spanking. The TMOPB a director also did Golden Hairpin which will sadly never air. Her next one should be Demon Hunter’s Romance which I am looking forward to. If anyone can get real kisses out of Ren Jialun she can!

Love and Destiny is role reversed the ML has to kill the FL. And Love of Thousand Years is not well executed but it a beautiful angsty story.

I hope so. I only skimmed the novel reviews. It sounds like a male centric revenge story. A lot of scheming but it looks like he can’t fight. Not sure if the FL role is that significant.

Well hopefully it wasn't done to make room to write Bitchang into the next arc!!! There are a lot of badly written and dumb Bitchang tropes in here so I am not convinced they have "no space". It is more a lack of taste and judgement in what to include and what to exclude.

It was my mistake I meant Xiao Lin (corrected). A scenario like you describe would make more sense. The one they are showing here, not so much... I am starting to think they have dumbed more interesting sub plots down in the adaptation into common and repetitive misunderstanding tropes.

He is a remnant of the fallen empire. He has to die or be forever imprisoned to end the battle for the throne. She should not try to save him. What he said to her makes complete sense. She needs to consider the greater good. And not lose track of her mission, which she is jeopardising to save someone she should not save.
