Yeah at best you can put it on while you are doing laundry or dishes and enjoy the soundtrack which is fantastic but the cop out ending deems it something not worth watching with undivided attention.

It doesn't offend me either and at the time, it didn't offend anyone. But it is a poor choice of words in the sense that it is easily taken out of context. In a vast public forum like the internet where everything lives forever it would have been better to be less direct.
