I think we are supposed to like the one with the sleeves that cost 200 teals more than the one that only cost 100 teals. Personally I think the higher top hair as opposed to the flatter top has more style impact.

MDL should be like Douban and only publish the rating after a certain minimum number of votes are entered OR after the drama has finished airing if the threshold is not reached. Some airing dramas have scores based on less than 10 votes which is ridiculous.

What are they charging out of curiosity? I only have the Chinese app the international one is so bad I refuse to switch to it.

They are complex books but the first one, which this drama focuses on doesn't go that far into the space bits. There are very good Youtube book reviews and summaries on the books. I don't think the books are like Star Trek but its too complicated to summarize here. If you really want to know go watch some of the videos.

Liu Xueyi is an amazing actor, he can play any role. It is such a shame he didn't make it big. I think he lost weight for the Wuxin role.

Although all the focus was one Lingchen, I thought Xiao Se's reaction was really well acted as well. He looked so conflicted - ashamed, angry and yet oddly protective of his dad at the same time.

I think the emperor knows both Chong and Yu are angling for the throne. That is why he brings Chuhe back. To what lengths they are willing to go I think he may suspect but not want to know the details. Plus he was ultimately ruthless himself in scheming for the throne so he is not in a position to judge.

I feel the same way about Yuqi. I was a big fan after Princess Weiyoung and Heaven Sword and tried to watch most of her dramas. But idk what happened she bombed out on all of them. I can tell you this is her best effort to date but that doesn't say much. She is dreadful for about 14 episodes and then she got a lot better. Still not a great actress but at least she delivers quite an enjoyable performance towards the end. But yeah if you watch it you are gonna have to grit your teeth through 14 episodes of bizarre facial and eye muscle movement.

It is like they are trying to be discovered.
