Altough i really like Xiao Zhan, i think the new actor for Yan Bingyun did a great job.

I just want to mention that Zhang Ruo Yun is particuliarly handsome here. The wavy hair and costumes looks great on him.

Im only at episode 20 but so far everything you mentionned did live up to my expectations. The only thing missing for me its the wuxia elements.

I never thought of Wang Hongyi as Yang Kang. He looked too nice but he may surprise us.

The OST cant surpass the original one but somehow it capture the spirit. I can feel the emotions.

Wow I like the styling for Gong Jun. The black and red costume remind me of Wei Wuxian from Untamed.

I just started 1 episode and i like the cinematography. It feels different from other dramas and more realistic.

I like her since ancient detective so I was excited to see her with Li Hongyi. Onscreen, I think their chemistry is good. Off screen not so much.

Li hongyi is so handsome in this drama. He outshine everyone including the female lead 😅 I really prefer when he plays a romantic role. Not a perfect drama but still cute.

I think so too. He is still young. I believe he can slowly make a comeback like others did.

It takes some time to get the subs but at least we know its going to be avaiable on viki.
