What is mean by ‘gore’?

I saw an edit and ran to mdl to find it, I'm into thriller and mystery/suspense dramas, i really was about to add this to the list but watching the comments.. out of 20, i found 5 positive and 15 negative.. yes every drama and most of good dramas have this problem but the number doesn't match, I'm afraid to start, anyone just let me have a particular reason, why you hate this? Why is this boring?

Oky so should I start this or not, currently I'm watching blackout, and the fiery priest. Do you have anything to recommend?
Also I'm allergic to straight romantic plots, thnks if you can recommend

I started it but the slow burn made me stop this.. I'm at ep 6 and the ep are also longer than usual so I just stopped.. hope to pick it up someday
