Why can't he have both? and honestly if he picks BHH over Blood River and SCH I'll be disappointed
That's what the whole plot is about..struggles of the oppressed trying to come out of shadows and forging their own destiny...and the director not giving them an easy out and showing that every time they have won it is just temporary and there is something bigger waiting ahead to resolve...it truly is metaphorically inspirational I hope they show SMY getting both BR peaceful and BHH..
Why can't he have both? and honestly if he picks BHH over Blood River and SCH I'll be disappointed
SMY is someone who keeps his word...he first fulfilled his loyalty to the Patriarch before joining Su Changhe..remember he himself said his fathers words "if you dont keep your words and bonds, you don't deserve to weild a sword "...he has been shown to be a man of integrity and straightforward from before.. He has made a promise to SCH and BR to cross to "The Other Shore"..SCH already gave him the chance to leave before start of all this, it is SMY who stayed...so when all hell is breaking loose and if he chooses BHH at this point..it will be very disappointing
SMY and SCH are both extremely skilled..SMY carries himself with confidence, restraint and Pride , while SCH carries himself with confidence, cunningness and Arrogance..both actors have beautifully conveyed these on the way they portrayed their roles without going overboard and making SMY look weak or SCH look demonic and despicable...Director has done a great job of ensuring such minor details are well handled(whether intentional or accidental).
Finish BR first, coz dark river characters in TBOY are really bad assassins, they are the villain there 😩 specially…
You are wrong with equating this to Hitler.....drama is more like people under him who were forced to do terrible things and fighting their way out would be a much better analogy.. Hitler here is the 1st prince , his uncle , the commander and the Night Crow lady
We're watching Dashing Youth at the moment. Should we do Blood of Youth next to better understand those characters…
I am watching Blood River without watching TBOY or DY..i am able to understand and enjoy the plot..it doesnt make a difference. From the comments so far from the time it started airing I feel this is somewhat of a stand alone with characters being similar...and comparision is only leading to chaos and unnecessary hate
Though Blood River is a male centric drama, I am glad to see none of the female characters have been reduced to "trophy" status...everyone has their strengths and their roles to play with nothing portrayed as weakness..very well balanced
This drama has the best character development and evolution so far.. Su Mu Yu was shown as the self-suppressed loyal person with inner conflict who starts showing his personal resolve from ep 6 onwards..and puts his full plan in action after his duty to his patriach is done..Su Changhe always in shadows doing dirty work, scheming, ambitious but slowly coming out in open and finally in ep 27 stands up as the Patriarch or Leader of The Other Shore.. Drama truly depicts the struggle to come out of shadows when controlled by others and forging one's own dreams and destiny
True patriarch. I am sure when MXW woke up in front of SCH as a normal girl- she must have thought that SCH won't…
True...till now SCH seemed like a character who was ambitious, morally ambiguous, some one who would do anything for his own survival hence not patroach material...but his character today standing up for what he believes as family was really a twist..revealing a new layer a depth to his character..truly stood out as The Other Shore Leader today
Su Chang He stole the show today.."now that I am here, no one can touch her in front of me"...smooth, dangerous, decisive, loyal... Loving the comolex plot. Entire team has done a great job
still stuck at episode 2. Should I continue or not? I am attracted to the CGI and visuals, but the comments on…
Plot is moving very slowly for me...acting , visuals, costumes is all very good and top quality..watching at 1.5x ..I am mainly watching it for the elaborate visual sets and costumes they've created
I am liking the pacing of this drama..intense episodes followed by light episodes with good humour throughout without resorting to cliché of dumbing a character down for "jokes".
" I came to watch the commotion, looks like I've now become part of it. " - typical Su Changhe.. Love how each character has been fleshed out and hold their our independent identities and work together and for self . Out of all ongoing dramas this is the best for me
Till ep 6 GJ portrayed the suppressed and inner conflict of SMY..and from ep 6 onwards SMY's resolve and starting of his plan in action with shift to show the passion and resolve has been done eloquently and coherently with the script.. Also CHS as SCH is superbly bringing this character to life... Though fiction these actors portrayal is transpoting me into their world..hope the plot and acting continues to stay as good
Am I the only one who's struggling to see Gong Jun as Su Mu Yu? Not referring to the acting, I'm only two episodes…
1st 2 episodes is still setting the stage..his characters actual thoughts and inner conflict starts getting revealed as story progresses...so far happy with Gong Juns portrayal of Su Mu Yu (I haven't read the novel or watched TBOY, DY...opinions may vary if someone has watched the prev dramas or read the novel)
I hope they show SMY getting both BR peaceful and BHH..

Glad to know it has not ben brought down by haters
