At this point the weak script and all the clichés are getting a bit too much for me. I’m still interested in the RamilPaytai storyline though, so I guess I’ll hang on a little bit longer.

This seems like a drama that focuses on social issues like Paradise of Thorns. I think people should adjust their expectations accordingly. Personally, I would prefer more Kinnporsche-esque noir action BLs from BOC (I enjoy escapism over realism),but I respect their choice to try other things. I think I’ll sit this one out, but those who are watching please do not mind the haters!

Not gonna lie, the first 30 minutes of today’s episode bored me to death, but luckily things picked up after that.

I love Ramil’s childish asshole behavior, he is so entertaining to watch. Also, why do I think Paytai is involved in some manipulation of his own 👀(that smirk omg)I do not think he is the helpless victim many believe him to be.

Ava is a queen as always and Calvin is such an awkward bean💕

I think the dryness might stem from the creators relying too much on the power of the actor ship to get people invested in CharanKhanin. I like them well enough but there is something missing.

Many of the shows I’ve watched took 2-3 years to air after the pilot was released😅

Look, I appreciate your analysis but to me it is still more complicated than saying ”it’s abuse and that’s that”. I’m willing to pretend I agree with your take though if that gives you peace of mind.

That is just your interpretation. My interpretation is that it is a bit more grey,more like dubcon with the potential to develop into downright abuse.

I have to say, I’m a big fan of stockholm syndrome storylines so I would have a field day if the writers would dare to go there fully (I don’t think they will though)

To be honest, I really don’t care whether Paytai is fully consenting or not, he is a fictional character so I’m not worried about his well being.

All my condolences to any real victims of abuse though. I hope they get the justice they deserve.

True, Ramil Paytai is mixing BDSM with toxic elements.Just because BDSM is not done by the book it does not mean it is not BDSM. Like there can be healthy BDSM and toxic/questionable BDSM dynamics. And also so far it is Ramil’s father beating Paytai and not Ramil himself.

On a larger scale of things Ramil amd Paytai’s thing is very tame compared to some of my other favourites like VegasPete and HannibalWill. Like there has not even been any homoerotic stabbing or non-consensual electrocution of anyone’s balls😂
