Today fan asked Pond when we’ll get to watch 8 hours, and he said he’s still working on the script. Fan also…
At this point I just want them to scrap this project, do something else and have new screenwriters write it🙏Like why force it if the script is not landing lol
Okay, so this is the first cdrama (or is it Singaporean?) that I tried watching. Everything happened so abruptly that I had to double check I had not mistakenly started watching a later episode instead of episode 1. I’m more used to the first episode being about build-up: introducing the premise and characters but this one just skipped all that and threw you right into the middle of stuff😅 Currently contemplating whether I should watch beyond episode 1🤔
Also I’m still not sure if this is supposed to be a fantasy series or if guys in historical CBLs always have the ability to fly through the air in slow motion.
The character visuals and cinematograohy was very good though.
Never give up hope! Wuju Bakery is here after 3 long years, even after Jeff himself said that it was shelved indefinitely,…
I don’t know if you are aware but at least Becky has left the Vamp project. MDA Entertainment instagram has unfollowed her. Over one year ago Mike said in a live that some people decided they don’t want to do Vamp anymore and left.
Really interested in what will be the fate of this one, considering all the issues with the screenwriter. I wonder if they will proceed as if nothing happened, change the screenwriter or cancel this series all together🤔
Unnecessary drama really but people love to talk and compare. There was no way the comic could be adapted anyway.…
It’s like when people complain about the quality of GMMTV BL dramas but still watch them anyway because the fave is in it. This gives the studio zero incentive to improve because the stans will watch no matter what🤦♀️

People really have forgotten that they can vote with their feet.Forcing yourself to watch something is beyond me. I would argue that the majority nowadays don’t watch shows as viewers, but as stans😅

I don’t doubt she is a talented screenwriter, but at this point she should just stay away from queer source material all together. That would be better for all parties.

The times really have changed😔😅I think it’s really bad how there is so much direct interaction between fans and creators nowadays due to the new forms of social media platforms. It keeps feeding the entitlement and parasocialism.Couldn’t have imagined that as a pre-teen in 2007The only fandom space I enjoy nowadays is ao3.

I would believe the screenwriter more if she wasn’t known for liking removing queer elements from queer source material. Unfortunately we are unlikely to ever learn the true story.

There is a real difference between millennial and genz/alpha fans I’ve noticed. Maybe it’s because older fans come from an era where fans and creators did not exist in the same spaces….X and tiktok sre a recipe for parasocial toxic behavior and are so different in nature from for example livejournal, tumblr etc.

I agree it is wrong to pressure actors or demand things from creators. That being said I also don’t think anyone has the right to demand how individual people interpret their work. The nature of art is that people can and will interpret it in different ways. Furthermore, I also still think it is questionable to say the least that the production studio and screenwriter approached the webtoon artist and considered purchasing the rights of the BL webtoon in the first place.Since we are talking about real historical figures, why did they not just proceed completely independently from the beginning? In short, imo there are questionable people on both sides.
