I don't anticipate much for TGCF since I know nothing of the lead actors neither am I hype for it. I just don't have many expectations of it. I will just welcome it and watch but even if they decide delay it or not even airing it altogether, I won't mind. They haven't shown anything worth capturing my attention.

I never said that you said the estimated dates are confirmed dates but you made it sound like those dates are confirmed and that it's censorship delaying the airing. True HYX is high profile and as I said it's an S+ plus drama. Knowing Tenecent, they wouldn't like to share the limelight with WOH, However much HYX is much anticipated to be the BEST drama of 2021, it's not in Tenecent's intrest to air it right after WOH had finished airing since they invested so much in this project. They wanted Immortality to be the only popular drama this year and by that, they wanted all the attention to be diverted to Immortality. So to achieve that, no drama of the same genre has to air while Immortality is airing.
They might have missed the timing and their objective since WOH is now the BEST in 2021, but right now it's not censorship hindering it, but they shelved it to wait for their time when attention is on them and when BL saga ban has come to pass. And it's not only HYX, all production crews of BL have to tread carefully this time and wait till all this chaos is over for them to air their dramas. So we won't see any Chinese BL drama anytime soon this year. Even TGCF LA production crew have to tread carefully if they want their drama to air. The chaos has even extended to novels.
So when I said these two dramas won't the light of day, I didn't imply it was censorship related, but we will have to wait for the fire to cool. So HYX will book the spot quickly next year if they want HYX to be more popular than CQL.

He's a Youtuber who makes videos about animes and reads popular Danmei novels. He read TGCF till the Ban Yue pass while TGCF season 1 was still airing. Now he's reading both 2HA and case file compendium. It's like hearing an audio book while watching his Youtube read throughs.

There wasn't an official date for HYX, all of them were rumours. HYX had passed censorship and was ready to air during the time WOH was airing, but after popularity of WOH, Tenecent decided to shelve it since it's an S+ drama and they need all the spotlight and profits from it. They had planned it to be the best drama of 2021 but since WOH was the talk, they shelved it. As for Winner is King, first it was censorship, then there was no update after that untill BL bans came about. Tenecent BL dramas aren't even on their boards and the last Chinese rumour I heard was that those two BL dramas won't see the light of day till BL ban issues pass. its not uncommon for a drama to be shelved and the company won't say it out loud. HYX is expected to air in the first half of 2022. Censorship rumours for HYX were from antis. As for the budget being an issue, I was talking about TGCF not WOH.

You don't need the numbers to tell whether the drama has high or low production. Just look at the BTS of both immortality and this drama and the answer is clear. I doubt this drama has the same budget as one for Winner is King let alone immortality. Yet it should have a high production like one of Ashes of love

Cnetz or novel fans had their favourites for these roles and the most popular names that came up especially for the role of Xie Lian were Song Jiyang, Luhan and some other actor I have forgotten his name, Yes it's Huo Minhao. As for Hua Cheng Xu Kai, Zhu Yi long, Yang Yang etc each person had their favourites only to see some unfamiliar faces taking the roles. So these actors have to surpass people's expectations and prove people wrong.

It's Tenecent shelving the drama not censorship. By the time censorship rules came up, Tenecent had no intention of releasing HYX and WIK this year right after the WOH. I love TGCF but the drama's budget is an issue.

I really don't know why but I seriously have mixed feelings towards this drama. My expectations aren't high yet I'm curious on how this will pan out. I really loved the novel though and the donghua.

2HA steams started later. The first torture scene between TXJ and Chu Fei when TXJ came to the refect and Punishment hall which he had made a prison, all they did was kissing and groping , nothing more but with Yuwu they really slept together and it was in early 30 chapters.

Hahahaha I even go back and reread them even when I have finished the novel like those in 2HA, I was ao curious how of Shizhun would have felt. That Shizhun who has thin face. Hahahahaha. As for Yuwu it started right a way because the characters liked each other early on.

Then you will love her novels. I'm total opposite. I read these BL novels mainly for the romance and intimate aspects of it. I love it when I have both plots and their intimate time. I want to know what it feels like to like lol. That's why meatbun is my favourite. I really quit reading Priest's novels because of how vaguely she writes her romance.

That's what I feel when I read her novels. In Guardian, she didn't even bother to elaborate and in Sha Po Lang, it's up to the reader to imagine what exactly they were doing, it's so vaguely written.

Her world building and her arcs are amazing but when it comes to intimate parts, I think you will get a bit disappointed after tasting meatbun and MXTX. She writes heavy plot stories. Her style is plot driven in otherwords.

I have read two of her novels (Sha Po Lang and Zhen Hun) but her works aren't explicit at all. You can't even know in detail whether the characters slept together and what the other character felt. Like nothing. Too bland compared to meatbun and MXTX. Yet her world building and story telling are amazing.
