Should I watch this? Which is better? This or Penthouse ?
Penthouse has many elements not just cut throat education and it doesn't have too much comedy like this one plus it's bloody. There's thriller, education and affairs all in one. Plus it's a Makjang unlike Sky castle. If you want total ridiculousness which even causes some high blood pressure, Penthouse is the way to go. If you want to witness how education ruins a family plus some dark comedy, then Sky Castle. The two dramas can't be compared since one is a Makjang with 3 seasons whereas another finishes in 20 eps. I have watched both
I'm from watching this drama but it's nowhere like Penthouse though it may have similar elements like Penthouse . So those of you who watched Penthouse first may get kinda bored with this one. The pacing isn't bad and the message is delivered but it's not your kind of drama which will keep you at the edge of your seat like Penthouse . Another thing is the writer makes a suspense build up around a death of a certain character but fails to explain how that said death came to be like it's up to the viewer to connect the dots which I find lame in storytelling. I just don't know, may be I had high expectations thinking it's par with Penthouse but it was just good.
i think JDT death wasn't suppose to be like this, in the 1st ep of S3 his death was shown different even his clothes…
That scene in ep 1 of season 3 might have been some kind of foreshadowing. I actually didn't take it as an actual scene though the setting is the same.
Episode 13 was a total joke to me. Like WHAT THE HECK ???? Kim Soon Ok has this bad habbit where she writes an excellently start of her series and then they go downhill to wards the end. She always has issues on how to wrap up her stories. The same thing happened in the last empress. I don't know why she always extends her series for ratings and end up such a MESS. She would have wrapped up as originally planned.
Again THE ENDING was the BEST part in this episode. Kudos to the actor who played Joo Dan Tae, the guy put this ruthless, persistent and determined character against all worldly odds to life. He really has left an impression. Btw. Who did Secretary Cho call right before he died ? For me, it's not just 112 given how the camera zoomed on that phone to tell us someone on the other end is listening to what is happening. Let's wait and see.
it still remains a mystery. If it was really 112, Then the police wouldn't need to be informed by Logan of the coming danger. So he might have saved the number as 112 but when actually it isn't 112.
Don't skip those chapters. I'm on chapter 47 and chapters 34 to 40 tell us how that sword spirit came to be and why the heck Li Qingqian's blue jade sword was named Hongshao and who actually made him into a sword spirit and why. Those chapters are very intresting. We even get a new character introduction, the forth uncle.
