You should definitely watch ever night season 1. It's where CFY really shined. I watched season 2 but the story is all about Sang Sang and Tang's royal family's politics and there are more fighting scenes than season 1 however the actor for Ning Que is changed.

It was taking forever for me to wait for Suika. Once I started, I just wanted the whole book at my disposal. I did notice the difference between mtl and Suika. Besides mtl grammar was off but I still went through with it and understood the story. If I was to wait for her, I would have already forgotten the first part of the translation and I wouldn't be a 2haist now.

I know its a year late but Ever night sets were natural unlike most Chinese dramas whose sets are artificial or created. I recommend you watch BTS of ever night. The boy was under harsh environment while filming ever night 1. So ever night is an exception when talking about harsh environments being "normal". Besides, Arthur has a talent in acting, he's not where he is because of his parents. Even if one had such parents,if his acting skills sucked, ofcourse he wouldn't survive. The boy proved himself in ever night and most of us wanted him in season 2. For LOA, it's like Wang Yibo in legend of fei. I dropped it despite him being there (bad script and directon). For me, he acts better than Song Wei long.
