Unless I am missing something, it feels like Shine On Me may release sometime this week. Tencent has posted Shine…
You’re not missing anything. Since it’s really coming, you can see a user here commenting about the Weibo update for Shine on Me, which is a pre-heating materials released before the official release date announcement.
Sometimes, international platforms social media post updates later than the materials released on Weibo.
You can check also the official Weibo and Douyin accounts of Shine On Me.
The NRTA already approved the drama for 30 episodes. The one who cut the episodes was the production company, not the censorship board. I’m not sure which scenes the production company cut.
251212 | As per the latest pre-broadcast investment promotion for TUS, it is still tentative for December.https://mp.weixin.qq.com/s/5bBIQGQ6OZdDZ5TqvzeeDw
I know it's a tentative and can change at the last minute but I'm still hoping to release this year😭😭😭
Why did they change the previous poster? I liked it better ;(
If anyone tries to submit a poster, I’m not sure MDL will approve it.
The current poster here is the one currently in use and appearing on iQIYI Mainland China. MDL follows the posters that are officially used or shown on iQIYI Mainland China.
I tried this with another drama and attempted to change it back to a previous poster, but it wasn’t approved because the submitted poster is no longer in use in Mainland China.

Clarification:
Not anymore. The NRTA already allowed them to submit an application for review in August 2025, and on October 20, 2025, the drama passed the review and obtained its distribution license.
So there’s no need to worry about copyright or any other issues. iQIYI’s schedule for this year is already full, so the drama will likely air next year.
NRTA stands for "National Radio and Television Administration"
It still tentative/rumor can change at the last minute, wait for official announcement from XiXi Pictures and Tencent Video.

So the metrics and records for speed and love will rely from Mainland China.
Platforms in Mainland China and international platforms operate on different servers.
All servers are operated separately. The international versions do not share servers or data with the Mainland China platforms.
