Finally finished because it was hard to binge (the material was so good but heavy), and it ended perfectly. Loved how the last three episodes made the whole show come together, and it didn’t feel rushed at all. Beautiful chemistry, great side characters (the second couple and producers were so cute), even the SML was decent at the end even though I wish he stopped calling her a zombie.
Chairman has three children- the President who died, Albert’s mother who also passed away (the shady dude is his son in law), and No Ra, who is his ex’s child. Both Albert and No Ra seem very nice and sweet, the complete opposite of that scummy Chairman.
The ending was awful. SML is past the point of redemption. There was so much potential between him and the Queen’s niece, but he’s just a raving lunatic. What a waste.
Intrigued to see how the last half of this show will go. There is still a lot of storyline left.
The boss is so much fun. I love his dynamics with Geum Bo and can’t wait for them to take the Chairman down. I still don’t understand how wealthy people are so greedy that they have slush funds when they already have more money than they know what to do with.
I really hope that Jeong U isn’t buying the younger sister story because it’s ridiculous.
I like the leads together so am eh with the Albert shipping. He’s lazy and doesn’t do his job. I still think he’s the mole and that’s why he’s quiet about the slush fund, but don’t want him with FL because he seems too naive and dumb for her. I appreciate that he’s very sweet and not corrupt like usual chaebol grandkids are. I’m sure it will come out that JU is working undercover as well to find the slush fund, which is the only way to redeem him after throwing Geum Bo under the bus.
I am saddened that Jihyeok's father died. But it felt so needless, so distateful, so unnatural that it left…
Thanks for the heads up. Sounds like the worst ending ever. Not even watching the last two episodes and pretending everything ended with episode 48. What a waste of time!
If the youngest needed money why didn’t he go to his father or his doctor sister instead of struggling and getting a loan? I never understood why he made things harder for himself. I know he already had an inferiority complex, but they would have understood if he was borrowing money to try to become a professor.
Daniel’s mom sucks. Such a selfish person.
Poor Dad. At least we saw him happy for a few episodes but he never deserved any of this.
I must be the only one enjoying Jae Gyu and I Jun’s scenes. I really loved their dynamic in high school and sad they can’t support the other like that anymore. So much animosity and hurt feelings that I wish they would make up already.
Wouldn’t anyone think that a new female talking to Jae Gyu is Han Gyeol’s mother? That’s what I would have automatically assumed.
Se Jin still sucks. Asking Han Gyeol if he had feelings for her then blabbering about thrillers and funerals and how she would smile at his. She’s so freaking ridiculous that I don’t even feel bad at HG for telling her that she’s not his type because she’s awful. Stop pretending to be hurt when you’ve been nothing but rude to him.
the second male lead just gives me the ick tbh...Its hard to look at him.Myb its just his "good guy" act…
Why he continues to try to be a good guy when she is so rude to him is baffling. Waiting for him to finally have enough and tell her off, and her ridding of the “poor rich me” nonsense. Probably will never happen. They are bringing down what is otherwise a fun show.
I CAN NOT STAND Choi Se Jin LIKEE GIRL STOP THROWING TANTRUMS WHEN U CAAN'T DO SHIT YOURSELF!! LIKE SHE WANTS…
Her parents were actually being nice and normal, and excited to see her cross the finish line and she rushes out of her room pouting and crying. I’m so over her.
I actually love that the last two episodes focused on their feelings/romance, and now the next two can focus on the case. I never like half-done relationships, so seeing both of them fall in love and being honest was refreshing. Their post-confession conversation was calm and truthful, without the usual push/pull nonsense.
The prosecutor is dumb- this was a chance for you to realize that the killer is someone else, and you go back to La Ik. I also hate the reporter and those fangirls.
I don’t think fish cakes have ever made me cry. Beautiful scene. In fact, this whole episode was perfect. Loved the leads enjoying themselves and bonding, and that ending was perfect. Tomorrow’s episode looks anxiety-inducing. Can we finally be done with those crazy fans and just throw them in jail? Zero excuse to chuck items at someone.
