That is her father, but her mom is a concubine/servant so she’s not a legitimate child. Hence, why she calls…
Because she’s a “lowborn” so probably doesn’t feel right calling him father, even at home when nobody is around her. Her mom isn’t noble so she feels okay calling her mother. Yes it doesn’t make sense, but it’s how she is.
I can’t believe this is still all k drama trauma and there are a few episodes left. Usually with the long dramas most of the craziness is gone by now and we can enjoy some fun and fluff with the main couples, but it seems like the writers didn’t get the memo.
Is the concubine poisoning the King? Ther was shady music playing when she was burning the incense. She really is a waste of space right now and can’t stand when I see her smirking face.
The marriage to the grandfather is so gross that I hope they drop it soon. That son is also so annoying and wish he stopped being so useless.
Wonder if the eventual body switch will happen before or after they find out their true identity. It would be hilarious for the Prince to try to be a thief and physician, and vice versa.
Loved that this show keeps adding twists to the show. Poor Mr Jang! They picked the most disgusting and powerful guy for last. The audacity of saying that there wasn’t objective evidence for sexually assaulting the housekeepers and “just their statements.” Korean law really does suck.
Can’t wait until tomorrow! Will miss this show a lot- it was one of the few that kept me entertained until the end without any annoying fillers.
That end sequence of episode 7 was perfection. I was crying when they killed the dog off- it was so realistic and heartbreaking.
I absolutely love the priest. He is blunt, honest and non-apologetic. I would watch and entire short series on his confessions because they are hilarious.
Do Hyun is the most patient boyfriend ever. He is so straightforward and never hides his feelings, even though Jun Hyeong is constantly sulking and feeling sorry for herself. The ex whatever sucks so badly and I want her off my screen.
The younger couple are so cute. In fact, I love all three couples. This show continues to surprise with how good and thought-provoking the dialogue is.
Enjoying this right now, and reminds me of Knight Flower (and once the body swap starts, probably Moon River). It has a good blend of adventure, comedy and romance. The concubine is so freaking annoying. She just sits there on her high horse and smirks all the time. The poor Queen looks miserable.
Moon Sang Min is born to play Joseon princes. He is so good in this, along with Under the Queen’s Umbrella, and his visuals are ridiculous.
