Besides the interest in the lead trying to save the company despite knowing nothing about the job, I love how they immediately humanized the employees by showing us how they mourned their boss. It was a seamless way of introducing them as characters, and I can’t wait to see them all work together.
Nice to remind us how inconvenient it was to not have cell phones, with seeing Tae-poong running to the trucks instead of calling the driver.
I wish that dumb loser stopped bothering TP, and wondering what his dad does to not be affected by the financial crisis along with what he’s trying to find that the dad hid from him.
How did a show that started off being about a very strong friendship end up as rivals competing for Miss Korea. Did they change writers halfway, because there is no way that meek and quiet YR would ever compete in this. I just can’t with this show anymore and no longer care to finish it next week. What a waste of time for these talented actors.
Like others, thought it was a really good first episode and set the groundwork for this show seamlessly. I thought Jun ho’s character would be a jerk, but he’s so sweet and considerate. If will be fun to see him try to save his dad’s business when he’s a horticulture guy. Plus, we get to see Jun Ho dancing which is a bonus!
Those jerks at the club made me so angry that they called him for no reason when he should have been at the hospital. Hope that the main ring leader gets some bad karma coming at him because he’s so awful. Wondering if the economic collapse will affect him.
I don’t know why Jae Pil is depicted as a villain. He has no idea he’s involved in a love triangle with good friends since Yeong Rye hasn’t told him how she’s felt for 9 freaking years. Even when she sees them together for the first time she starts hiccuping like a meek child, and still talks in a baby voice. Drives me bonkers.
Sucks that Jong Hui just wanted a parent to love her, but her adoptive mom just thinks of her as a substitute for her dead daughter. No wonder she feels suffocated in that house.
Tomorrow’s looks interesting, but with three episodes left I hope the triangle doesn’t take over this show. It’s always been about friendships.
Anyone else annoyed with how the friend with the child talks? I don’t know if it’s a different dialect but she’s always overacting and shouting.
Wish I waited until next week to watch both episodes. That cliffhanger was brutal, and there are zero previews so we are left in the dark. I went from smiling about how warm and happy this episode was to utter devastation. Sigh
The stepchildren are awful human beings-whenever I see them onscreen I want to ff them because they make my skin crawl. Can’t wait to see them hopefully crash and burn.
I agree with others that the villagers are way too quirky, but am loving the kids and adorable doggie. The attorney and his sister are fun, but the baby voiced Hye Ji is ruining everything. She seems to be meaning well, but wish she stopped the baby talk and meddling.
It’s nice to see a competent FL who doesn’t need saving.
Is Su Yeon the real villain on this show? I keep getting confused the more episodes I watch, but that’s the way it’s looking. No wonder she doesn’t want the special act to pass- she’s so awful. Looks like the secretary isn’t as bad as I thought she was.
Still don’t know why Min Cheol wants a divorce. He’s staying tight lipped on everything without refuting the accusations. It’s so frustrating to watch, and next week’s episode looks even more ridiculous. There has to be more to the stylist because this is just lazy writing.
The episode 11 hype was real. Fantastic episode! No wonder Iblis despises humans so much. Can’t wait to see how it all ends when I finish it tomorrow since I haven’t read any spoilers.
I could cry at how good the kissing scenes are in this. It’s about freaking time- so tired of stiff 5 second half ass ones .
Just started episode 10 and it’s criminal how underused Kim Ji Hoon was. He was already among all the endless eye candy on this show (thank you casting team) but wish we saw more of him.
Episode 5- loving all the cameos! What a treat since I wasn’t expecting to see these actors on this show..
Wondering why people are flooding this page saying they aren’t going to watch this show. I can understand those showing their disappointment so far and not watching anymore, but coming on here just to state you don’t want to watch it? Why would we care? I have zero interest in a lot of current k dramas, but I don’t bother posting on their boards.
Love how they immediately went into how Jong Hui became a chairwoman’s daughter. Fate really did shine on her kindness. It was also nice to see why the corrupt manager did not file charges and have the police go after her. Because this may be a k trauma, I’m sure that storyline isn’t done.
The relationship between the moms continue to be a highlight. They are both such good moms, after all the crappy parents on other shows.
The leads immediately going back to their comfortable friendship was lovely to see. I missed them so much the last episode. Jong Hui still remembering everyone was great to see. I was worried she’d forget about everyone once she became rich. After how YR’s brother helped JH, now I’m really rooting for them.
I have to keep pausing the beginning of episode 4 because I can’t stop laughing at Ga Yeong wanting to be kissed again. Girl, if a man that looked like that kissed me LIKE THAT, I would be obsessed too.
Loving this time jump. The moms being good friends now, along with the friends all living together, is heartwarming to watch. The younger kids even have a decent storyline, and it’s good to see Yeong Rye’s brother becoming a judge, since it’s obvious that the leads are now a end game with Jae Pil developing feelings for YR so Jong Hui now needs a loveline. Poor Jeong Hyeon will be left in the dust- he’s such a great character!
I am also now rooting for Sang Cheol and the friend with the glasses- I senses something between them, unless he is meant for the other friend that has the daughter since he’s so close to her.

I feel so bad for the grandmother- can’t imagine how hard it is bringing up a psychopath, worrying when she will snap.
