Great show with great casts from great director but I feel like something's lacking

I was having high hopes for this show because the casts are my favorites and the director is famous for his gory and violent scenes. I enjoyed watching the show because of excellent acting from my favorite actors and great cinematography.

Jung Hae In proves he is acting genius and master of genre, expressing various levels of pain realistically and perfectly acting with only one eye. Go Kyung Pyo’s acting as serial killer is refreshing and Kim Hye Jun facial acting is great but her action scenes are kinda lagging in some scenes.

But what I feel most lacking is maybe suspense/ tension/ story development? I didn't feel so much excited to know what would happen next (maybe because I got spoilers from behind the scenes videos that Disney+ released in advance before the drama's premier).
OST is nice with Haein’s sweet voice but using the same song repeatedly for many times (although it's necessary for the plot) made me bored.
CGI and VFX are great especially the tentacles used for regeneration.
The gory and bloody scenes are not that disturbing to me.
The chemistry between the casts is great but felt the kissing scene between DongSoo and Yirang is too early Lol.

At the moment of writing this review, people are making noise about the rear nudity of the actors which is nothing strange in acting field but it feels like they used stunt doubles for those scenes.
[Edited - Jung Hae In confirms that he used stand-in (body double) for nudity scene in an interview.

The sex scene was unexpected haha but didn't expose too much.

The last fighting scene between DongSoo and JinSeop didn't help me to maintain suspense and the ending scene hinting for another season is unexpected.

Overall I enjoyed watching the great performance from my favorite actors but sense of satisfaction was not that much and probably I won't rewatch this show within a short period of time. However if there'll be season 2, I'll definitely tune in to explore their so-called new Connect World.

I haven't seen any thai lakorn before and this is my very first and I like it very much. The story is sweet and the main actor and actress's chemistry is amazingly lovely. Mark Prin portrayed the character of P'Thien very professionally and expressed the emotions very well. Mewnittha also portrayed Moei very well and cute. All the supporting characters are very good, too. Also, the locations are very beautiful and what I like the most is revealing the hidden beauties of my country, Myanmar. Thank you the whole production team, and all the people belonging to this lakorn for making my Mondays and Tuesdays meaningful.

I love this lakorn very much!

Actually, I decided to watch this lakorn because of Mark Prin. I trust his acting skills and his chemistry with his co-stars. In this lakorn, he did his best as usual and his chemistry with Kao is excellent. But I think Kao's acting is relatively unnatural compared to Mark's especially in the earlier episode when she was a spoiled young high school girl. Moreover, some of the supporting roles make me feel over acting. Maybe because I can't move on from Mark's previous hit lakorn, My Husband in Law which made my heart flutter and made me rewatch for several times. I don't want to compare the female leads but if I have to, I like Mew's acting much more.
I don't want to mention about the storyline here.
Another facts I like about this lakorn are the scenery and the music. The shooting location is a farm and so the scenes in the garden with colorful flowers are very very beautiful and made me feel I can smell the scent of the flowers while watching. The scenery I like the most is the scene with cherry flowers in the near ending episodes. The music is good too. I like the background music "Deeper than the ocean" that makes me heart-ache in the sad scenes. The OSTs are good too and the lyrics fit the plot.
In summary, I enjoyed watching this lakorn very much especially the later episodes when Arthit became soft yet he didn't know about his heart and I started watching live streaming without understanding Thai language and I repeated watching with subtitles in the morning. The lakorn made my first half of December filled with excitement and roller coaster ride of emotions. I have to miss this lakorn so much and I will repeat watching the sweet scenes for sure!!

I'm a 2nd generation k-pop fan and I started to watch this just because of its k-pop genre

Yes!!! I was a SONE and I supported almost every k-pop groups back then when k-pop fans stan for multifandom. For some reasons, I was far away from k-pop since around 2013 and so the only one cast I know in this drama is T-ara's Ji Yeon.

Let me talk about my first impression.
As I mentioned above, I watched this drama without even knowing who are the main leads. So I felt complicated while watching the 1st episode. I couldn't remember who is who. At first, I thought the female lead doesn't suit with the character as a k-pop star. She is quite short and I don't feel comfortable with height difference among the members of Tea Party. But I don't feel anything with her hair. For the male lead, I realized that he is the main lead just at the end scene of the first episode where his car passed by walking Lee Ma Ha in the dark. My bad :-(

As I continue to watch, when I can recognize all the casts, I have fun watching the drama. The plot is not very special yet addictive and I progressively fall in love with the character Kwon Ryok. I thought he is tough at first but I melt down whenever I see his smile. I did a deep search for him and found that he is multi-talented.

I want to praise the female lead for her hard work for the dances. She is not a k-pop idol but she manages to be one. Also I feel a good chemistry with the male lead. Second leads are also good too. OSTs are also catchy.

One thing I feel annoyed by this drama is that just one episode per week is not very satisfying.

I want to thank this drama for letting me know that a man called Lee Jun Young exists and I feel like I found another talented guy to support. I become his fan and waiting for his next Netflix film with my SNSD' Seo Hyun, Moral Sense.

Lee Junho is an amazing actor

I admit that I did watch this drama just because of 2PM's Junho. I'm currently obessed with Junho after their recent comeback MUST and digging his previous works so I happened to start watching this drama. But soon after I started watching, I forgot Junho and I was immersed in his character Lee Gang Doo. I felt his pain. I felt his struggle both the tragedy and for his living. Sometimes, tears came out for poor yet warmhearted Lee Gang Doo so I had to think how rich and successful Junho to lessen my emotions. He portrayed his character damn so well. In addition to this, the drama becomes so emotional because of co-actors and supporting actors. The chemistries between the leads are so amazing and the relation between Gang Doo and Mama, Ma Ri and San Man is so heartwarming. The story itself is just emotional yet enjoyable. I fall in love with Junho more and more after watching this drama.

I'm not a fan of historical dramas and I watch this just because of Junho BUT...

Yeah... I'm a Hottest (a fan of 2PM) and I started watching this just because of Junho without expecting much. I know it's too early to write a review when just 2 episodes were aired but I want to express that those 2 episodes preceeded my expectations. Firstly, I was amazed by the cinematography in episode 1 where the two child actors walking through a stream and a road lit by a series of laterns on the way to the house of the noble court lady. Those two child actors did great jobs. I'm glad that their childhood scenes are shown at a fast pace without much complications and cruelty. The acting of Lee Junho and Lee Se Young and their chemistry is great. I definitely didn't expect comedy in this drama but the two leads are effortlessly funny and adorable. I feel episode 2 is at a little bit slow pace but still I enjoyed it. The storyline itself is interesting so I hope more interesting plots in coming episodes.
