I understand vro, Hua Ruyue did not do anything wrong she only did what was right. She was protecting helpless mortals who needed her. But everyone is condemning her for it. She knew that the generation which offended those creatures passed away but no one punished them, instead innocent lives were left to suffer the hardship.

She's really pretty, even before when we thought she was fighting for ml's love, I thought she's really pretty. And her character is badass

Fate caused the entanglement of Hua Ruyue and Meng Changqin, so it really looks like he's her love tribulation, and she did learn compassion. On the other hand it is Bai Jiu Si, he is treating the tribulation like a exam that he has to pass or ace, but he's really not understanding it's true purpose.
