Thailand does not allow same-sex unions to be filed as āmarriagesā but they allow for civil unions. So they're one step better, but they've got a ways to go yet as well. Japan's highest courts have found a marriage ban to be unconstitutional and next month Tokyo and a bunch of other cities will start issuing marriage permits, but not allow for tax breaks like hetero couples. We'll see how long it takes South Korea to follow suit - change can come slowly but sometimes we're surprised, too.

To be honest, I would not have thought about watching this drama but the trailer I just saw on Viki - and I'm not exaggerating here - was one of the most interesting and intriguing trailers I've seen in a long time...and it wasn't even subbed.
