Like I just realised it, but it's so simmilar, like they even had stage play at the end just like ofdo, both stories were about a falling relationship after all. And their reconciliation was the same, meeting after years. The only thing different was that Teh is the one who cheated, but here Dean "cheated", but still Jack hurted Dean like Teh hurted Oh aew. But I think Teh was worse than Jack, because he was the only one who was toxic and Oh aew did nothing wrong, and here it's a bit more equal in the way that both Jack and Dean hurted each other. It's also simmilar in how everyone hated Teh and Jack.
I remember I gave it 3/10 because I was so mad at how it ended, that they got back together and I hated Teh, but later after analysing the story more I gave it 8/10 ππ It made me think that the ending might not be as I would want it to, but it doesn't mean it wasn't a good story. Though I have a softer spot for JackDean, because for me Jack is not as bad as people make him to be.
Same πππ but it's okay we can just come back here and talk like it's still going on, the delusion πππ…
I love you Dean, we should host our wedding soon and we will he happy forever no toxicity between us right ππ also I'm sorry for being so bad to you all this time ππ
i open MDL everyday and check my currently watching list for of:do.. everyday, i get hurt because it's in my completed…
Same πππ but it's okay we can just come back here and talk like it's still going on, the delusion πππ but if S3 will come out then we will see them again, even just for a short while so i'm not losing hope
It's just me or JackDean story feels simmilar to I promised you the moon with Teh and Oh-aew (that is hard to type lol), does anyone watched and gets me...
He kind of did ,he told Dean that he has matured, he doesn't get upset anymore about the old stuff, but he did…
Yupp, JackDean is so on brand as Only Friends couple, and even if them ending up together is not the "healthiest" choice, they really can't live without each other do they. Them ending up together might not be the ending the viewers want, in real life I also wouldn't root for them, but in fiction I love this codepended toxicity, in the end we are watching their story, and we don't have to agree with characters choices to appreciate it I think.
And tbh I also feel like it, they might seem happy and I truly believe they are for now, but maybe their arc wasn't…
Yeah, even though they did changed in the future, I just wish that we would see more of it in a gradual way. I guess them going in circles maybe was on purpose, to show that if they won't work on themselves then their relationship won't work, for them to see that they really need to be apart, even if for a while, so at least they were able to let go of each other and try new paths. I would like the whole episode to be one year later rather than just a half episode tbh.
All Earth characters seem like entirely different people to me, like what do you mean that Hengney, Jim, Phupha…
Yess, his tattoo finally saw the light of the day and I'm very happy bout it π₯΅ His body overall is so goals, like abs, that chest and nipples omg, Mix is so lucky lmao
I don't remember him saying sorry, but he did say that he is also at fault to Arnold for pushing Dean to double…
Yupp, I totally agree, honestly I'm all for their toxic co-dependence, I like that vibe, but I also just wish that Jack would say sorry to Dean, and that both their toxicity and remorse was more equally portrayed later on, just like in ealier episodes.
He kind of did ,he told Dean that he has matured, he doesn't get upset anymore about the old stuff, but he did…
But I still think this is not the problem of the character, but rather the screenwriters, like imo Jack wasn't supposed to be as toxic as he was. But well at least he carried the black flag on his bare tattooed shoulders the whole season haha π
In a way that's interesting, even if they shouldn't have ended up together they did, just like toxic couples in real life

Also Jack wasn't alcoholic in the novel nor did he went to rehab so that was also an addition here, I liked it, but I'm sad that they didn't really explored it further like with Ray.

So they weren't lacking love, but rather it was problem of Jack getting easily triggered, with trust issues, saying hurtful things and treating Dean way too harshly after Dean did things that hurted Jack, and Dean problems was with lying, not being honest, and being too obsessive and in turn toxic to other people. They both are tragic characters to me.
But I also hope that this time Jack and Dean really changed from their past selves, and can be happy together as equals π©·
