Tua's outfits are the absolute worse and they never got better. This was not as good as the first one. The only…
Hmm I think the cast was willing to go all out, but you can only do so much with not so great script. Like ArnoldTua, they didn't had much to work with when the script didn't allowed them to be complex and show us their spice and tension. And I think they did commit to their roles, all the actors did amazing job, but again, if the script didn't allow them to go all out, they couldn't, and they had to stay in their line.
From what I remember, originally ofdo was supposed to have the crossships, the pilot also reflects that, so it's not like the actors had problems with it, it was a change from the directors side. I think the main issue was that Thai fans didn't liked cross ships much compared to inter fans, so it's very probable that they removed them in order to please their domestic audience and avoid fandom wars.
And yup I agree, I would like to see JackDean to have a bit more conversation going on before diving in again, like the rain scene was really nice, I really liked their romantic moments. Also yess, that π Dean scene was just brilliant. But I don't agree that their last nc scene was mid, imo it was one of their hottests nc, with the deep kissing and all, for me RomeRaffy were bit too rough, albeit I liked them, but I guess that's just personal taste, I like when they are more "sensual".
Okay so I just gotta say this is so much more tame then S1. And I don't just say that from a sex scene standpoint…
Honestly, with their overreaction, I think that many people forgets ArnoldDean fanservice thing, that made Jack and Tua more wary of them and jealous, especially when every person around them noticed their chemistry and wanted to know if they are boyfriends irl since apparently they became a popular ship around the campus.
So I guess the bottled feelings did their thing when Jack and Tua saw that video. Add to that Jacks trust issues and Tua obsession with Arnold (I think he was obssesed bc he even tricked Arnold to join the play by paying him himself just so he can spend more time with him).
So I agree that it was a bit over the top, and it would be better if they would actually kiss or make out, but if it was Dean with Timmy in the woods instead, I doubt that they would have the same reaction π And also Tua felt extra betrayed considering that Dean was hist best friend.
Farawell to RomeRaffy, JackDean and ArnoldTua and Timmy. Time to write some thoughts.
I'm happy with how they ended the series honestly, I think it was a really good farewell for the characters, I usually hate last episodes with unnecessary drama, but here they did it right, it felt satisfying for me, although there were unresolved things, some aspects were unfinished, but I think they did the best they could with the limited screentime left.
And this time I also think that the time skip fit well, I wish that we could see the whole episode about it honestly, because it was interesting what they were up to once they grew up, even more than their college drama lol. I need to see more storylines about adults come on!
So, final verdict. I enjoyed OFDO, and had fun watching it, it's not perfect, many things could be changed for better, the plot and script is the weakest point and that's a pity, because it could be a masterpiece, but despite it I still really enjoyed it, it was entertaining and I really got attached to all the characters and I loved their dynamics.

I think if a series evokes many feeling, different opinions, if it makes you think more deeply, if you can analyse it in various perspectives, then no matter it's downsides, it is a good series, because that's the role of art and media, to make you feel something.
I think it's worth watching even for the acting alone, all the actors did an amazing job. And there are scenes that you absolutely cannot miss: Rome tongue, Raffy being a diva, Dean doing the π emoji in real life, Jack being scary and hot at the same time, Arnold chemistry with Boston and Dean, and Tua and his psycho side. And Timmy, Timmy is the best.
I will miss this cast and waiting for every friday for a new episode, goodbye OFDO, it was a great journey π©·
