I am disappointed fhst the writer killed off Wen Ji and Lu Ji. The ending was also vague. The director could have shown Jiang and Xiao Heng in the same frame. I thought the combing hair scene meant that Duke Su was dead since he had disappeared into thin air. The bonus episode was snippets.

It was love at first sight when she saw Shen Yurong. These princesses live such sheltered lives in their palaces, that they immediately fall for the first good looking man in sight.

The only thing I like about her, is her wardrobe. The costume designs are very pretty.

Random thoughts...

Yaoruo is about 15? Jiang Li is 18. Is Shuran in her early 30s? Consort Li is a year or two older than Shuran. Emperor seems to be in his early 20s. King Cheng looks late 20s. Did Princess and Cheng have the same mother, and Emperor had a different mother?

What throws off the viewer is the ages of the actresses playing Shuran and Consort Li. Shuran looks older than Li, although there a recent scene where Shuran looked in her 20s.

I think he was a lunatic psycho. Maybe he pushed her over the edge.
