I hope Snow Bird survives the entire drama,

Uncle Fan, his wife, and Song Yun and his Mother should be a family unit. They have no scruples.

I enjoyed watching the first five episodes. They seemed to end quickly. Yan Zheng and Fan Chang Yu are my favorite drama couple in the making. Zhang Ling He and Tian Xi Wei are charismatic, beautiful actors. The supporting characters are very good to watch, except for Song Yun, his Mother and the Fiancée. I am glad Chang Yu stood up to the Mother's bullying. Song Yun is a spineless narcissist. I am predicting that he will fail the imperial exam. Missie will be very disappointed. After Chang Yu's parents died, their financial support ended, so Mother needed a rich patron to support their lifestyle, and picked the Magistrate.

I don't know the plot, so I am glad to learn this information. Now, I am intrigued to watch the drama.

Unveil Jadewind was a good drama. I liked Pei Yi, Huai Jin, Wu Ren, Prosecutor Gu, Zhao Yu Di, and Master Du. The cases were average. I would not have spent more than three episodes on each case, and would have elaborated on the secret villain Crown Prince, to wind down the story.

Chancellor Cui's army revolt popped up out of the blue, with no build-up. I had predicted he would invade the palace when he was sent away to write scriptures. Some of the writing was odd at times: either lost in translation or just written badly. Final rating 8.0!

罪 (Sin) by GAI 周延 (Zhou Yan), is one of my most favorite opening credits songs. First time learning about Gai who is a rap singer. I loved his raspy voice. I usually skip the opening credits, but I listened to the song every time.

Emperor could not punish Chancellor without evidence, so he waited until Chancellor launched a rebellion, to eliminate him. A few hundred soldiers and guards dead! Emperor could care less about the underlings. Emperor is playing with a half brain.

That was the strangest secret ending. I wouldn't even have tacked it onto the final episode. Director wanted the CP actor to get an extra scene. I wasn't impressed with the actor or his character.

CP might kill off his father and Consort Shu early in the sequel drama. This would bring Pei Yi and Huai Jin back.

Since Pei Yi and Haio Jin are wearing red, I have to assume that they just got married. They should have showed us the wedding scene.

I looked for it because I read the comments earlier. I just finished episode 34.

That final episode post end credit scene hints that the production company might be retooling the deleted content into a Season 2.... The Rise and Fall of the Crown Prince.

At the rate the Emperor is going, he could live another twenty years, and CP might be in his fifties. LOL I am guessing he is 30ish. He won't hold out that long for his promotion.

How old was CP fifteen years ago, to plot the demise of his uncle, Prince of Duan?

I guessed the tall man with Chen Luo was the Crown Prince. He must be waiting for a long time to become Emperor, and his father is going nowhere anytime soon.

If the villain (e.g. Chancellor) tries to kill Emperor, and Li Pei Yi kills him (e.g. Chancellor), then Emperor will reward her. I have a feeling Chancellor will return.

He is a typical ruler, with no sympathy for an employee who died in front of him. He wouldn't care if the body was thrown to the sharks.

I figured out the HDY title. I forgot about the drama after it was announced. I will bingewatch it this weekend. I am glad it has completed.

A couple of years ago, I watched two costume dramas concurrently on YouTube, and I started to mix up the two main lead actors and the plots as I waited for the new episodes.
