I agree. I don’t see 2nd as a leader of an empire. His ministers will walk all over him. One of his brothers will overthrow him. I am disappointed that Xiao Se is passing on the promotion. He would be ideal as Emperor.

At the end of Trailer 27-28, Wuxin "comes out of seclusion". Woohoo!

His hair and makeup looked exceptional in episode 23. The white strands of hair on the sides of his face no longer bothered me. LOL

I have forgotten about Wuxin since he is rarely on screen. He was the main reason I continued watching the drama.

It sounds like Mr Dongjun is taking him back to that place, to heal his wounds. Have you watched Reborn Rich? Perhaps Tang Lian will do a Yeonwoo/Do Joon rebirth. LOL

Qianluo outperformed in ep 25. The Sleeper has awakened. I hope they keep her strong and assertive in the rest of the drama.

Tang Lian outperformed in ep 25. I am heartbroken. His change in demeanor was superb, as he challenged the Dark River Hat Villain.

Lei Wujie outperformed in ep 25. He showed maturity, fighting Whatshisname. I hope it continues, and he becomes less Mr Foot in Mouth.

Editing was choppy. The Editor got carried away jumbling up the scenes in Tianqi City and the fight scenes with the Guardians and Xiao Se. No need to keep going back and forth mutliple times! It breaks up the concentration.

I am in shock. Tang Lian's final performance was outstanding. His expression changed completely, as he became the ultimate Drunken Master Assassin. It looks like Baili Dongjun is taking him away for a reset(XD). I hope he returns toward the end of the drama.

I keep watching the drama for Wuxin sightings. I was hoping that he would have a bigger storyline.

LWJ is animated, like the Chinese opera stage performers. All the other characters are low key, compared to him. He must drink a lot of caffeine. 🤪🤪

The martial arts aspect of the production is more cinematic than television, like you said.
