I signed up for the Kukan YT membership yesterday; 99 cents first month special! They have 18 episodes. This is the only drama I could find to watch, after Fox Volant.

It looks like a Cause and Effect drama plot. If they change Time, what will it offset? So far, I like Wu Yu, Tan Jiao, Wu Maio, Xiao Yu, Shen, Professor. Ying and her mother are very irritating..."like mother, like daughter".

Capt Shen and Xiao Yu are too cute together.

Are they entering parallel universes every time?

I kept going, and finished eighteen episodes. I even joined the Kukan Youtube channel, to see early episodes. Viki had ten episodes only yesterday. There are some cringey moments. Some CGI looks cheap, especially when she is floating in the time or interdimensional stream.

Chen Ru Ying is the worst character. She is more annoying than a villain. She is so clingy. Wu Yu has the patience of a saint. Someone needs to slap her hard several times. She seems to dominate the episodes.

I am looking forward to seeing Song il Gook back in Dramaland.

Actually, I am staying in character with FL. Her memory of the last year is muddled.

LOL I was calling him Gollum for weeks, so I finally looked up his name yesterday. ROFL

The Director and Writer should not have wasted all those minutes in episode 40, on those three trolls.

He was a passive villain. You didn't get the feeling he was a demented villain, like Tian Guinong and Shi Wan Chen, or currupt as Feng Tiannan. In the end, when he said goodbye to Hua, it seemed that he genuinely loved her. He also gave up his children to Hu Fei, which is surprising, since he is the Emperor's bastard son. I actually liked looking at him, btw.

The fight scenes were very well choreographed. The quality that you see from Donnie Yen and Sammo Hung's works as martial arts fight directors...I forgot their job title. If the production team edited the filmed drama into a three hour movie, and kept all the fight scenes, the result would be outstanding.

Maio Renfeng dragged Tian Guinong and Shi Wanchen to the gates of Hell.

I watched an old movie, Seven Swords, with Donnie Yen, with the same premise. Emperor wanted to kill out all the martial arts sects. I guess the emperor is paranoid that they would overthrow him one day. One sect might not succeed, but a united martial arts community might succeed.

I thought the same thing about Hua jumping onto the wagon. Was she trying to protect her man (Fu)? XD
