Exactly! One of the best thing about this drama is watching miles' adorable gobsmacked face everytime tian lan has to deal with writer wang's antics XD

So, as far as i understand, the first three fables were allegories of putao's past, kinda like her background story. And now we're entering the point where she develops story based on her current state. Tian lan making additional input to her story is a nice touch. But now i am worried as this is usually the point where dramas tend to falter in their development. I hope they're able to maintain the balance between the couple developments and the stories that they're going to create (together, maybe?). C'mon, drama, i'm putting my trust on you; don't make me regret buying premium account lol.

Okay, i did it, the first time ever i bought premium account just to be able to watch the newest episode of a drama lol. It's crazy how much i'm obsessed with this. I can't believe there's only 9 episode left. The story has been developing pretty good so far.

He did showed up more after ep 10, we get to know more about him, and we get some super speedy relationship development as well

i like that the characters were multi-dimensional. there were some mentions of psychological disorder but it's uncertain at this point. female lead was somewhat erratic(?) but at times also shows vulnerability. the male lead was depicted as a doormat, but he's smart and firm in his belief, morally upstanding. supporting characters are okay and they serves the stories well enough.

i'm only on ep 4 (yes, this fool who said she would wait until it's finished to binge watch, finally conceded), but i like what i'm seeing so far
it's not the usual fluffy romance drama, it's got a certain eerie and unsettling vibe to me

subs on wetv are okay, but the ones on mangotv are less so...

Woke up to check on this page and wth the ratings got even lower 🤣
Meanwhile here i am debating to buy vip account just so i could access the latest ep with better subs

the synopsis on wetv mentioned that the FL's dad has alzheimer

for real, they practically solved their problems by NOT talking, agonizing internally, and staring ardently at each other lol. The actors really deserves awards to be able to create this level of chemistry out of thin air. Even though this is not a fantasy drama, they must have telepathic connection or something XD

Did i get amnesia lol, i've literally started marathoning this 2 days ago and i keep confusing names and timelines. Probably should rewatch the whole series just to make sure XD

But i've watched it again and they repeatedly mention 15 years ago... was that 15 years before suying or was there a translation problem...

The suying incident happened 20 ago right? So how did tianyao met with changlan at dragon valley, and even got his fang blade blessed 15 years ago?? Did i miss something? Why does the math not mathing?

Okay i'm at halfway point of the series. So far i like that it's quite fast paced. Also the story seemed to be focused on the main couple; it doesn't waste too much time on 2nd (or 3rd) couple, or even too complicated political machination. The love triangle aspect is a bit predictable, but i get that it's necessary. I am also glad that i waited to watch until the whole series is finished. It's very binge-able
