Part is she didn't want to ruin his life/career prospects. When they were seeing each other, she witnessed how much he was working hard to get a job in a big company to put his parents' minds at ease..she knew he was someone who put others first before himself and would probably have given up on everything to take on the responsability. She was afraid to become a burden and that's why she let him go and kept him in the dark till the end. Just my two cents.
The biggest omission is Lu Yu Xiao...I swear this girl is so talented and beautiful.... I'm not one to rave about actresses tbh but she is the exception. I'm so looking forward to her growth as an actress and want her to cooperate with all my favs.
