The biggest omission is Lu Yu Xiao...I swear this girl is so talented and beautiful.... I'm not one to rave about actresses tbh but she is the exception. I'm so looking forward to her growth as an actress and want her to cooperate with all my favs.

It is worth it! Ding Yuxi is the MVP of this drama. This is the first show I'm watching with him and definitely not the last! Plus his chemistry with Ancy Deng is off the charts. 💯recommended!
To each its own I guess. I think Mao Zi Jun is a very good actor, his character is just written badly and way too cartoonish in this drama. If I have to name someone, the one playing Lu Chui Chui is the weakest link imo...the actress was also terrible in 'Love is Sweet' ...still I really liked the show hence her presence didn't bother me that much (I just didn't care about her character)

He's dubbed by the same voice actor who dubbed Liu Xueyi in 'Love and Redemption' (Jiang Guangtao) Fun fact is that the main leads are also dubbed by the same voice actors of this serie (Zhang Jie=Yu Si Feng and Qiao Shi Yu= Chu Xuanji) It was a somehow LAR reunion.

Thanks for the recommendation (greatly appreciated) but I'm not the biggest fan of the FL so I will probably choose the one with Zhao Lusi or the modern drama with Esther Yu or even 'White Cat Legend'
