Like @timmyrate sugested, Lee Do Hyun is a really good choice, if he don`t have another drama that is filming…
Lee Do Hyun is in the middle of filming a drama (Youth of May) so he's quite busy...and as you rightly said he's getting quite popular these days so I don't think his agency would agree to let him fill in for the role.
I loved the original so I'm quite iffy with a remake. But being a K-dramas lover, I'm also kind of curious about it. My casting choice would be Lee Do Hyun (1st choice) for Li Zi Wei/Wang Quan Sheng, Park Se Wan (1st choice, so talented yet underrated) for Huang Yu Xuan/Chen Yu Ru and Seo Ji Hoon for Mo Jun Jie.
I am not the only one who is feeling like this. I started this drama for Kim Jung Hyun. And, they really made…
I have no complaint whatsoever on how written is his character... I think on the contrary it's a great role for Kim Jung Hyun to showcase his versatility and talent. As expected, he doesn't disappoint one bit, he's slaying as usual and his chemistry with SHS is off the charts (I just feel like a proud mama whose kid is at the top of the class lol).
But I must admit I was also quite bummed out by some negative comments I read on some sites. Mostly people saying they're bored when Shin Hye Sun is not on screen, that she's the one carrying the drama (not only it's unfair to Kim Jung Hyun but also to the entire cast), that she's overshadowing everyone else etc... I love Shin Hye Sun, she's one of the finest actresses in Korea (and also a fav of mine) but there's really no need to belittle everyone else achievements/skills/talent to propel your fav. It's annoying to say the least.
For those who don't know -DO NOT EVER HOLD A RABBIT LIKE THAT.EVER :)What they're doing wrong - Holding it by…
Thanks for rightly pointing that fact out...(holding it by its ears can break /damage its spine) I thought exactly the same during that scene... *didn't like that scene that much* but thankfully they secured its legs with their free hands. Still love the drama nonetheless but that very scene made me uncomfortable to say the truth :/
They're talking about leukemia?!? *sobbing* Please show, this is not what I have signed for! Save Jun and give…
I'm quite dumbfounded as well. I have watched all this writer's works and it has always ended on a happy note. That's why I'll keep my hopes up for last episode. Writer is probably messing with our heads at the moment and trying to mislead us into thinking there's no hope left... there will be a miracle tomorrow! (though I'm worried about the wedding, enough time? I'd be extremely disappointed if we don't get one)
Please don't tell me we would have a sad ending based on preview of ep 16!
They're talking about leukemia?!? *sobbing* Please show, this is not what I have signed for! Save Jun and give them their happy ending. They don't deserve such cruel fate.
Lee Jae Wook sub-par? Unattractive? haha Thanks for the good joke. He earned this lead role, at such a young age, because even with supporting roles he's managed to outshine most of his peers in his past works ('Search WWW' was bearable thanks to his performance and his chemistry with Lee Da Hee+ I managed to finish 'Extraordinary You' yet again thanks to him+he was such a breath of fresh air in 'When the Weather Is Fine'). With Jang Dong Yoon (The Tale of Nokdu), he was the revelation of 2019.
As for his looks, I think he's good-looking. He's charismatic, has deep voice and excels in his craft...all those make him attractive imo. To each his own I guess.
I know I've said before but Im more sure about it now. I came here for my big little Jae-Wook and stayed for everything.…
I agree with you on Go Ara...she managed with her sincere acting in this drama to change my mind about her. Lee Jae Wook is probably her best partner to date and they compliment each other perfectly. I didn't watch last episode yet (only snippets) but I commend her performance during the break-up scene. It was hearbreaking when she was trying to process his sudden harsh words (the way she was asking him if it was because of that other girl was particularly poignant imo, I felt so much her pain at that moment) I think I wrote her off too quicky after 'Hwarang', I regret it. Paired to the right partner, she surprisingly shines. Not saying I will watch everything with her from now on but I won't avoid her projects (as in the past) if she's cast opposite one of my favs.
His parents probably threatened him into cutting ties or else they will hurt Ra Ra (new girl seems to be in cahoots…
Moreover I read somewhere that she might be his ex-girlfriend (hope it's not true!).... Am I the only one a little bit disappointed with this turn of events? I was hoping Ra Ra to be Jun's first love :(((( He's so young...it was so beautiful to think he crushed on her since their first meeting.
What the hell is happening at the preview of ep 14? Come on! we only have 3 episodes left. Why are they going…
His parents probably threatened him into cutting ties or else they will hurt Ra Ra (new girl seems to be in cahoots with Jun's mother grrr) . Usual noble idiocy crap! Why show, why? *disappointed*
LeeJongSuk was also offered another drama written by park hae young (my mister) and to be directed by shin woo…
Where did you read that piece of news? I'm interested^^ I rather he take this project for his comeback than the Hong sis one. I know he might choose the latter because their projects are more 'mainstream' and appeal to a larger audience....but I would love to see him in something new, something that showcases his acting chops, something more challenging.
SO.. ex girlfriend? finally we are getting Rara being jealous and fighting for her man?? YES PLEASE!! This would…
I can already predict that this new girl will probably be more favored by Jun's parents....I don't think she's his ex girlfriend, more like she's in a one-sided love with him. Jun is too smitten with our heroine to even consider that chick. Still, she probably will be a pain in the ass to watch but also a headache for our lovebirds. Get married already!
My casting choice would be Lee Do Hyun (1st choice) for Li Zi Wei/Wang Quan Sheng, Park Se Wan (1st choice, so talented yet underrated) for Huang Yu Xuan/Chen Yu Ru and Seo Ji Hoon for Mo Jun Jie.

Wait is finally over!! So looking forward to episode 9!

Still I'm not convinced, I can't help but suspect him j/k
