Same! We have every right to find his character appealing. I'm #teamHaru for the romance and #teamBaekKyung for favorite character (I sure root for his redemption and happiness)
They're all just suffering from SLS, sucks for them lolNo matter what you're going through its not an excuse to…
I'm not suffering from SLS since I'm not shipping him with our heroine but individually, he's probably the most interesting/intriguing character so far... so unpredictable, I like that!
This may or may not be the case but I think Search: WWW brought about even more recognition to him recently so…
I'm drawing the conclusion it's just his character in this particular drama that you dislike not his skills as an actor. That just shows how good of an actor he is. One moment he makes you want to hate him, then he softens, you feel sorry for him and when he plays the nice guy (like in WWW), you just can't resist him (sorry for being carried away but that young actor really took me by surprise, he's just that good)
im 32 years old and my 34 years old sister never waited for a drama every week like this onethis drama is a masterpiece…
I'm in my 30s as well and I love it! Drama is a breath of fresh air. I tend to skip high school dramas nowadays (because you know I'm too old to enjoy these kind of plots anymore) but this one is an exception, it's a gem.

He was the best thing about this drama tbh. Him and Lee Da Hee saved me from dropping it. Main couple was a bore (and I like Jang Ki Yong, I even started it for him) As for Lee Jae Wook, I think he's the revelation/rookie of the year...charismatic, charming and talented at such a young age (he wasn't my type either at first but his mature aura and good acting made me fall in love with him).... but I do respect your opinion .To each his own after all :) I like Jung Gun Joo's performance as well but I need to watch more of his works before deciding if he's a keeper ;)
First episode was awesome and hilarious! Kim Sun Ho and Moon Geun Young are such a winning pair<3 THIS is the kind of comedy I'm digging *side-eyeing a certain drama on same channel*
I'm 100% team Haru for Dan Oh as well but I just can't ignore Baek Kyung...why? Because of Lee Jae Wook. Boy is…
I agree his attitude is very off-putting...that's why I totally don't ship him with our heroine as I stated above (team Haru). He has way too much issues to deal with at the moment to even think about pursuing a relationship. Still, he's one unpredictable guy and is really a compelling character. I'm very curious about his next move...probably up to no good as always xD
As for Lee Jae Wook, he's sure a gem of an actor! Love all his micro-expressions<3 So young, yet incredibly talented!
I really don't believe there are people supporting dan oh with the shit of baek kyung, it's surreal to me. if…
I'm 100% team Haru for Dan Oh as well but I just can't ignore Baek Kyung...why? Because of Lee Jae Wook. Boy is so incredibly charismatic and charming that you can't possibly hate his character. Give the role to someone less talented and people would not even give him the time of day...all that to say I'm so ready for Baek Kyung's arc after watching the latest episode...but I also love Haru, he's like a prince charming, so handsome and sweet haha
I know they're both the main but before I start it I'd like to know who do you think will be the real protagonist.…
Yang Se Jong being listed first on the cast list means he's the main lead. Leading lady's heart already belongs to him after all and unless there's some death thrown in there, she should end up with him. But Woo Do Hwan plays a huge role as well and his bromance with YSJ is 1000x more interesting than the main romance (it reminds me of Gaksital *nostalgia*) Watch it!
There is everything what I want in a historical drama but I can't seem to connect with the main lead(seo hwi).…
To each his own:) I think he's freaking awesome and it's no wonder he won a Baeksang Award last year (Best New Actor). He's for me the most talented actor of his generation. May I recommend you to watch 'Duel'? He played 3 different characters and he was just mindblowing in this drama. Please, give him a chance, he may surprise you:)
How the hck the red guy still alive? Nonsense that I can’t ignore somehow..
haha I know...it was utterly ridiculous. Guy got stabbed right on his chest (on what should have been a fatal blow normally), woke up miraculously (super fast healing here) and immediately got back on his feet to continue his mission as nothing happened.....oh, I almost forgot that he also took two arrows later on and still managed to survive in the end *rolleyes* He.is.not.human.Period.
I watched the first 2 episodes and was very disappointing. For JH fans.... don't bother yet, He gets less than…
God knows how much I admire/respect Jang Hyuk as an actor and all but some of his fans are a bunch of arrogant brats who think he's the best thing to have ever graced the screen and need to learn modesty and stop looking down upon his fellow colleagues (Jang Hyuk himself would hate this kind of behaviour)
Yang Se Jong and Woo Do Hwan aren't idols, they're actors and talented at their craft. YSJ won a Baeksang Award last year and I highly doubt he went under the knife (what you see is what you get). He doesn't seem the kind to care that much about his looks irl if you ask me (no SNS, he's really low-profile when he's not working but when on job, he works his ass off!)
Lastly, JH fans need to be patient. He will probably appear this week and with more screentime. I'm definitely looking forward to his strong performance.
First impression on this drama: a total let down. I was expecting so much more from Ji Chang Wook's first project post army and all I can say is that I'm far from being impressed...4 episodes out of 16 have already aired and nothing major happened. I don't even find it remotely funny ...I'm watching it with my sis and we're both agreeing, the humor leaves us completely cold (and let me tell you, comedy-wise, we're easy to please!)
Writing is a mess and is dragging down talented performers. I'm basically forcing myself to watch it for the leads (I love both). Get your act together writer-nim! Don't let it become another Abyss V 2.0...
Edit: Sorry for the rant but I needed to get it off my chest.....
I'm confused here...wasn't it originally slated for 20 episodes, not 16???? I'm a bit disappointed because I'm afraid it's way too short for these kinds of stories (historicals/sageuk) *sigh* First episode was awesome nonetheless, it's really living up to the hype as of now...Stellar cast and acting (Positive point: Seolhyun was quite decent in this first episode!). Looking forward to second episode now!
LOOOOOLcan u plz tell me the end i dont mind spoiling it for me is it has happy ending, sad or bad or open one…
People should have read the webtoon beforehand! (or at least inform themselves about it)This way there would have been no disappointment...Drama was okay, not a masterpiece but I enjoyed most of it. My main grip with this show was the cringy CGI and the unfunny three stooges.
Okay...I didn't plan to watch this drama at first because of the leads but being dramaless, I decided to give it a chance....and I'm pleasantly surprised, it was a delightful watch. One of the best fusion sageuk dramas I've had the pleasure to watch.
Shin Se Kyung kicks ass as Goo Hae Ryung, probably her best role to date (she really suits sageuks) and Cha Eun Woo is not that bad- the lovestruck prince suits him quite well...he still needs to work on his facial expressions and posture but I can definitely see some improvements here and there (his bawling/crying scenes were decent, not cringy at all)... Lee Ji Hoon and Park Ki Woong were excellent as usual...but for them to be forever stuck as second leads is such a shame imo. Final rating: 8.5/10.
First c-drama I managed to finish (dropped LoveO2O because of dull leading lady)...it was a nice watch and exactly what I needed at the moment. Main couple was adorable and it was a pleasure to follow their day-to-day adventures.
Lin Yi (male lead) was a bit stiff but considering it was his first role, I'll cut him some slack...wishing him the best for his next projects (boy is handsome and tall, it would be a waste if he were to never improve...don't you think? Oh well...*thinkingoutloud* I will definitely root for him<3 ) Gu Wei Yi is a thoughtful and understanding boyfriend. Despite his awkwardness at times, he's a sweetheart to Tu Mo. Fair Xing was good as Si Tu Mo. She was bubbly, spunky but also a level-headed and down-to-earth girl. Not your typical dumb girl who fawns over the smart male lead even when all he does is treat her like crap...the doormat type if you know what I mean. Here, it's the male lead who falls for the heroine first, not the other way around (and what a delightful sight it was xD )
Lastly, I recommend it for everyone who's an hopeless romantic (like me lol) Final rating: 8/10.
