This ending is pointless. It’s a shame, the series was actually pretty good.

So much shows gonna end next week: Summertime, Gelboys 2, Match Point, Duty First Kiss Later 😭

Honestly, don’t waste your time with season 2. The plot is way too thin, so they spend most of the time filling the gaps with pointless antics. The whole Gelboys concept is good, but this season is just exhausting to watch. And the story is weird, it doesn’t have the realism of season 1.

This 7th episode makes absolutely no sense. The season was already pretty hard to get through, and it just keeps getting worse!

season 1 was amazing

Is this series made by the same team as Secrets Happened on the Litchi Island? It has the same vibe and the same cinematography.

It starts way better than Flower Boy.

I think you have to look at it through the lens of the time. For her, it’s an honor to serve such a noble family, especially one that treats its servants with respect. She can’t even imagine having any rights against the powerful (which was very much the reality of that era). So beyond the fact that her son has feelings for another man, what truly frightens her is the disgrace that would fall upon the princely family if that relationship were to become known.
