then you should stop watching kdrama or any asian drama, 95% of them have had some type of plastic surgery..... it is given in entertainment industry, particularly in Korea. If you want to see no plastic surgery, Go watch some western low key small budget shows, then you might see some real faces.

Honestly I wanted a different story with Kang In Wook to be the main lead and him changing, healing himself from the person he became because of trauma and evil parent. Also him learning to love Yoon Mari with her new face, this would show he actually loved her and not just his mothers face. I think the doctor is just too boring, too proper. Most women would find this kind of a man too boring, bland and lacking personality. Or maybe it was the actor that played him that way, I don't know. But I prefer redemption stories where the antihero changes into a better person after losing and finding love once again and healing his past trauma. I wish writers had written this story instead and brought Yoon Mari and Kang In Wook back together again.

I haven't watched Love in sadness yet, will watch it next but I have seen some clips and if you want obsessed ML then watch 'My heart twinkle twinkle'., MLis not a good guy and is obsessed with FL. However even darker one is chinese drama 'Sealed with a kiss',thats one psycho obsessed possessive ML, but very hot!

well if I was an emperor in that time and had lots of concubines, I'd probably would do the same... it was expected of him so he would have lots of children, to keep the dynasty going. it was normal. Even the generals and ministers had lots of wives and concubines.

another one that will hurt your heart is 'What Happened in Bali', very toxic relationships, a lot of jealousy and the ending - prepare for it, it will shock you. I can't say its happy ending but it will make sense. its an old drama with Ha-Jiwon, Jo Insung and So Ji-Sub. Its well worth watching

I'm on episode 14 of My Sunshine and definitely don't see any similarities. in SWAK,ML was complete psycho abusive, in my sunshine, so far he's pretty mild.

indeed, she just is overally passive and weak. Her character in her youth was so much better. I find it hard to believe that she would change this much in 7 years.

I'm watching episode 14 where they get legally married.... what the F is that Tshirt she's wearing? looks so stupid, looks like 2 fried eggs right on her chest. That too now in the marriage photo....I can't stop laughing. She wore that top again few episodes later....thats stupid! Why can'they make her look more womanly? And I hate how she is so timid all the time, with her head down as if she is ashamed, she is nothing like her old self in her youth.

there is a thai lakorn that is similar, might be up to your liking. its called Kleun Chewit. The leads are beautiful and great chemistry.

Watching episode 20 now, wow loving it so far. Very fast paced. Not boring at all. Would recommend to watch it!
