I thought we will be getting another Uncle like slice of life drama but after seeing the first episode I'm a little bit disappointed... snif snif.

I find the story quite similar to The Man From Nowhere. They just swapped the genders of the main lead and child and gave them a different background.
I enjoyed watching it though.

I would recommend watching this but do not binge watch it as it will most probably swell your eyes.

Not really, the rating started at 9+ and stayed around 8.5 for the first 10 episodes and dropped gradually to 8.1. If i were to explain this rating it is simply because a lot of us enjoyed watching the drama afterall. You see people tend to talk about the negatives more than the positives. Of course that's just my speculation.

Yes, they made my weekend so enjoyable.

You see that the show started so strong, so a lot of us (including myself) had a lot of expectations for it. So when the story started becoming repetitive and the writing less impressive we got a little bit disappointed. So, i would say just give it try ... I am sure you won't regret watching the first 10 or so episodes at least.

The uncle keeps disappearing ... I just don't get what the writer is even thinking 🤦

But at least, you can't deny it was fun to watch.

I don't know if they added his voice in the drama but the songs credits didn't mention his name. Only the child actors have thier names on their songs.

Who is the nicest of them all ... That's debatable.

Ok i understand now, i watched the couple first episodes of penthouse and wasn't able to continue myself 😅.
However about Oh my Geum Bi, I can't totally agree about it, after all this drama really broke my heart. I can't even imagine rewatching it since i know that i would end up crying the whole day again. If i compare it to uncle, yes they can be relatable as mentioned but oh my geum be would be hard to watch especially for us weak hearted people as Kdrama_fan mentioned.

Interesting, haven't watched sky castle. You can add it to the recommendations section since it seems they have a lot of similarities.

Aha .. yes if it's the character i agree. We rarely see a simple ML that can be imaginable (relatable) in real-life.
