I’m only on episode 10 and this has got to be the sweetest C-drama I have ever watched 😭😭😭😭 It’s so beautiful, the relationship is so tender and the slow burning is sloooowwww burning 🔥 🔥 in the best way.
I’m on ep.5 and the FL is still so gd annoying. I thought she was getting better, but then she proved me wrong. I just watched the part where she scolds him for the painter murderer getting accidentally stabbed. Honestly I didn’t think Yi Soo deserved to be scolded like that. Also just a WILD thought, maybe he wouldn’t take it upon himself to work individually if she and her team included him like they’re supposed to???? That’s just my crazy guess tho 🙄😪 I just HATE how up on her high horse the FL is, she acts like she’s been unfairly handed this huge burden, but she’s the one who unjustly arrested Yi Soo, and lost out on “her” murder suspect. He’s also not a jerk or a bad person, which makes how she treats him even less deserving. It’s not like he asked to be made a cop, or to catch a serial killer; these things just happened to him and she behaves like he’s targeting her. I’m literally only watching this for Yi Soo bc he’s funny and a cutie. I hope there is NO romance between him and the FL, bc she’s the worst. No hate toward the actress tho, I just really dislike how her character was written.
I’m on the first two episodes and the FL is soooo annoying. She talks all about responsibility but she actively refuses to make up for HER mistake. She’s so prejudice against him, for no reason. Like OK he’s rich and lives life however he wants, that’s not a crime. Also he seems like a good egg not at all an asshole, comparatively she’s the one being a huge d*ck. What else I don’t get, is how the FL is so caught up on the fact that he “stole” their suspect; HE DIDN’T tho???? He was literally defending his friend and then defended himself when the suspect started trying to stab him. I’m sorry but I really can’t stand the FL and her “woe is me” persona, like please get your head out of your ass and act like a decent human being. I get that the whole (nepotism) parachute 🪂 employee thing is annoying, but she’s refusing to cooperate even when they keep telling her it’s him being a cop or her losing her job ; and she still acts like the whole world has wronged her. 🙄
It was too cartoonish. From plot to acting to styling. I suffered through it for Lee Joon Hyuk's five minutes…
A lot of people are saying this, I just started watching this, and I feel like it’s following the Marvel-esque or just American super hero style of shows I’ve seen. It’s definitely an interesting take for a kdrama.
I’ve only watched the first episode, but this feels very Americanized in some ways. So much so, that I started to wonder if this was even shot in South Korea (it probably was considering the green public bus at the start of ep.1 tho) Am I the only that feels this way? Of course there are indisputable Korean elements in this Korean drama, but I’m specifically referring to the editing, scene direction, script, and overall cinematography. This feels closer to Marvel movies/shows that I’ve watched rather than any kdrama I’ve ever seen. Also, I’m not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, it’s just something I noticed.
I know Tang is a terrible person, but why am I low key rooting for him🫣??? The yellow dress lady was annoying, and she didn’t deserve to be killed, but I’m kinda relieved she’s off his back. I’m only on ep.2 maybe my mind will change about Tang ☹️ 😫
Why the unnecessary sex scene???Dropped it because of that. I guess Netflix insists on having porn scenes even…
AGREED, I found it disturbing and not necessary to the story line AT ALL 🙅🏽♀️. The appeal of kdramas for me is that they’re not like U.S. shows where there’s sex everywhere. I like the lack of intimate scenes because it makes the audience focus on the plot and characters more. I’m convinced the scene was just for shock value.
I’m so curious how they’re going to wrap up the final 2 episodes. 🤔 A lot was subtly revealed in ep. 10, that one ahjussi is looking hella suspect now. The real MVP is Snowball cuz she’s been trying to tell everybody what she saw at the reservoir smh 🙄 she’s got all the clues
Bro I need her to think of another solution ASAP and just dump both Su min and Min Hwan’s asses. Or at least have her and Ji Hyuk find out about each other reviving so he stops thinking that she’s still being played for a fool. They need to collab on the revenge plot and fall in love 🫵🥹
I know you really can't decide for anyone when they should forgive but the dad is taking out his grief and anger…
Yes! The disrespect and just all around hatred he keeps imposing on people is insane, especially since it was an accident. I feel like him extending his hatred to Sam Dal is taking it too far. I get grief is hard, but at this point he’s just angry for the sake of being angry. His wife would not have wanted Yong Pil and Sam Dal separated or Ko Mi Ja to be treated like the scum of the earth like that. He’s honestly acting like the second villain in this drama.
Why is his step-mom such a c*nt??? Like what does she have to gain from being so mother f*cking RUDE to Shi Yi? Can someone tell me if she eventually chills out or if she remains an eternal pain in the ass? I’m on ep.10, her scooping her food when he asks if she could make some time to meet Shi Yi’s family and she just pretends to eat has got me soooo HEATED rn🤬
