IMO the CEO still deserved a punch in the face. Other than that this show had a great last episode. I just wish the entire drama would have focused more on Seo MokHa’s journey and not so much on all the side characters/stories.
It feels like too many plot lines. The evil teacher? The clairvoyant transfer student? The annoying online reporter? I really like this show but I wish they would focus on her situation with the ML more. I just want it to be cute, but all this mystery and potentially evil characters make me want to throw my phone at the wall. 🫷😫🫸
I’m so over Yoon Ran Joo’s drama. I want Mok Ha to do well without focusing on her so much. I hate how YRJ’s mood seems to determine the progress Mok Ha makes. Also, is Mok Ha not allowed to make mistakes??? Like, she had a good reason to be scared and run away. She came back immediately too anyways. It’s ridiculous. It feels like there’s two antagonists in this drama, that dumbass abuser who can’t seem to take a hint and leave Kiho and his family alone and YRJ with all her annoying mood swings, jealousy, and holding Mok Ha back tbh. I hope things start looking up in terms of that bitch ass abuser and YRJ being a better less temperamental mentor to Mok Ha. Episode 8 really got on my nerves if you couldn’t tell lol.
Was Park Eunbin ever in a musical? I don’t know why, but I thought she was in one which is why I wasn’t surprised by how well she could sing in this drama. Somebody lmk if I gaslit myself into believing that or if it’s actually true lol thanks
Am I the only one finding this super boring? Like, there is no plot. I think I’m going to have to drop this drama. All they keep doing is discussing business, going to meetings with one another, giving like 3 seconds of humor or romance and repeat. I want to hold out hope, bc I love the cast, but I’ve watched 5 episodes and it seems like nothing has happened. There is nothing interesting about this drama imo. Usually there’s a hook that keeps me going with C-dramas bc they’re much longer than k-dramas, but nada. I can’t pinpoint a single thing about this drama that’s entertaining. I’m confused about the concepts for the main characters as well. Do they like each other, do they not? Granted 5 eps might be too short to determine if a C-drama specifically is worth watching, but I’ve got nothing with this one. I’m left wondering if anyone is surprised by how bored they are watching this?
The drama in this drama is just 😏🤌🏼Simply amazing. I can’t get enough. My only complaint is that I want Yi Joo to speak up more I can’t stand it when all the villains say stuff at her and she just stays still like girl clap back 👏 please. That and I want her to embrace Do Guk more but I sense she’s going to feel betrayed once she finds out that he’s helping her bc I’m guessing they died in the same accident (he was the black car most likely)
I don't know how they manage to fill the episodes mostly with boring plot yet to always finish with a cliffhanger?…
Fr idc about the CEO dude or Ran Joo’s drama, I do want to see Mo Rae defeated tho ngl, but mostly I want them to finally give my girl Mok Ha her own stage!!!
Ok after eps. 3&4 I’m almost 100% certain that Bo Geol is Ki Ho
BUT also, I am so OVER Yoon Ran Joo 😡 . I want Mok Ha to focus on herself instead. I feel like if they just came out and said that YRJ is suffering from vocal nodules and even had surgery her popularity would still rise bc people would sympathize. This secret singing nonsense isn’t doing anyone any favors. It’s sad on behalf of Mok Ha bc she doesn’t have the opportunity to shine on her own and the temporary high of happiness that YRJ is experiencing every time is completely unsustainable.
Also tbh I don’t care much for YRJ’s story, I want to know more about Mok Ha’s survival, her dreams and the whole issue with Kiho more than anything else. The CEO, the RJ entertainment stuff and Yoon Ran Joo are boring to me. Give me more of both the male leadsssss pleaseee 🙏🏼
I don’t know what it is about this show, but it’s so good. It’s so heartfelt, I’m only half way through, but I’ve been bawling 😭 at least once per episode. Park Bo Young is amazing 😩🫶🏻
I low key want Ki Ho to be Woo Hak, but I think it’s actually going to be Bo Geol. There could be a plot twist tho and she could find out which is Ki Ho but still fall in love with the other brother
Does anyone know if this drama is based on anything? Like a webtoon or a manhwa? I loved the first 2 eps so much and I’m so curious of what’s to come. Plus I also think KBG is Kiho.
Is the SML good or bad? I can’t tell if he’s just trying to use her for something or he genuinely likes her. Can someone lmk? I’m on episode 4 btw. Just tell me if he’s good or bad, no detailed spoilers please.
I really love the main couple, but jeez there are so many characters that I dislike. Here’s the list so far:
1.) Sol Hee’s mom: What a fuckin psycho? I hate her so much and tbh I feel like she shouldn’t even be part of the story she adds nothing but aggravation. She could have stayed as the fmc’s bad past trauma with flashback scenes, bc all her present day appearances are just boring. Shitty parents is such a huge trope in kdramas and it’s awful. They need to normalize people completely cutting ties with their parents and also calling the police on them when they act abusive. It’s so frustrating to watch the fmc just let her mom walk all over her.
2.) Syaon: or whatever her name is. She keeps overstepping, acting delusional and tbh she’s just a down right brat. I see no redeeming her after her fake suicide attempt like wtf that was insane and insensitive
3.) Muzin or wtf: annoying ass, entitled music producer. I’m glad he was dealt with early on, but I am praying he doesn’t come back. His character was one I also felt this drama could have done without.
4.) CEO J’s Brother: what a twat!!! I can already feel the mess he’s about to brew up and I’m only on episode 6. Props to the actor tho bc that chewing gum scene where he’s extorting money from DoHa made me want to slap the life out of him, truly annoying.
5.) Cho Rok/ Salad Bar girl: what is her deal? She’s not cute or funny, her character is just a nuisance. Spreading rumors, always being confrontational, acting creepy towards DoHa and as of the last episode I watched, trespassing into the Luni Tarot Cafe and then acting all snobby when they told her to get the fuck out. Like girl plz exit the screen you’re wasting my time.
6.) The sleezy dude who owns a bar close to Luni Tarot Cafe. He desperately needs to get a clue. He’s like a walking ick. I think maybe he was supposed to be interpreted as lighthearted comedic relief with terrible pick up lines but it’s really not hitting the mark at all. The inexperienced acting seems to be hindering this character from what I can tell.
7.) The ex-gf’s brother: the dude literally behaved like an animal when he saw DoHa’s photo in the newspaper. He needs to get the fattest grip known to man. This ridiculous blind rage and stubborn finger pointing at DoHa just feels stupid. If he really cared about his sister he’d fight to find her and get real justice for her not fixate on someone that seems to have never been charged with a crime
**This is just me venting ya’ll. Please don’t take it too seriously. I genuinely really like the romance and the mystery of this kdrama but the rest feels like one big clusterfuck. The main couple just can’t seem to catch a damn break. I will never understand why one drama needs like 10 different antagonists. Lol**
