Did not like the execution of story and characters...dropped
It was so hard for me to keep watching. I just could not get into it. The story is unique, but for me, not well executed. The story kept repeating itself, and the characters are not very likeable, except for I Na; she is my favorite. The male lead is just running around acting like a douchebag, which is very annoying. I had no connection with the characters and did not care what would happen. And, to be honest, the acting is nothing special. I did not like the execution of the time travel, the cinematography, or the OST; I hated it—it is terrible.
I tried, but I am dropping the drama midway. To be honest, I do not understand how the rating can be so high when there are much better shows with lower ratings.

Hidden gem!
What a surprise…Great drama! The acting is superb…specially the performance of Kya Sung and Yuna. I love this duo there are so funny.
It is a emotional ride to see the development of their relationship and how much they care for each other. Not a single episode was boring. I was hooked from the beginning till the end and finished the drama in a few days.
I am supriced that I did not heard more about this drama. What a hidden gem. One of the best drama of 2023.

Wow…Masterpiece!!! The best drama ever
Wow what a masterpiece!!!The production and acting is amazing. Namkoong is fenomenal actor and I love his voice. It is the best drama I had ever watched.
I like how EunJin character envolved in the drama and in the end she knew what is in her heart and never stop loving Jang Hyun and finally she started to persue him. It was painfull journey but she never gave up.
It was hard to watch all the intrigue and betrayal of family and friends. Jang Hyun had fallen for her at the first sign and he always protected her even he had to sacrifice himself. I really hate his father and the crazy king just gets on my nerves. I am so glad they got their happy ending and survived all the obstacles on theirs journey.
Of course there is unsolved story how Ryang ended up in prison and we probably will never know unless we have season 2.

Totaly in love with this drama!
The first half was everything I didn't know I needed. Watching Xie and Fan slowly fall in love felt natural—tender, unhurried, and deeply satisfying. I loved that she was strong enough to stand on her own, and I loved even more that he was always there, quietly watching, but never stepping in unless she truly needed him. There was something beautiful about that. The humor caught me by surprise. I laughed out loud more than once. The falcon became an unexpected favorite, and their little found family warmed my heart. I loved their pig butcher squad—it really showed how they became a family and always took care of each other. Gongsun was a delight—always teasing him about being a married man. And Qian? Her story stayed with me. Qi Min played her possessive partner so well. It was messy and painful, but I loved that the drama didn't sugarcoat it. Sometimes love is toxic, and this one showed that honestly. And the children? They brought such lightness. Every scene with them felt like a small gift.
I was hooked from episode one. Twenty episodes flew by like nothing. The costumes were stunning, the fight scenes were insane, and I literally finished the whole thing in two weeks because I couldn't stop watching.
It took me a few episodes to recognize who was who, as the characters all looked quite similar at first. But I got there eventually, and finally understood the court intrigues.
If I have one regret, it's that the drama was too short. I never thought I'd say that, but an extra10 episodes would have given the story room to breathe. The second half felt rushed at times, as if certain moments were brushed past too quickly. I'm grateful they took their time in the beginning—that slow pace was where the heart of the drama lived.
The ending caught me off guard. I didn't expect to feel for the villains, but I did. When you think about it, just a few minutes of your live could changed everything. And when the truth came out about what happened 16 years ago? I was crying. The glimpse of what could have been broke my heart.
I'm going to miss Xie and Fan. Their chemistry was undeniable, their pairing unforgettable. This one left a mark.

overhyped and underwhelming
I don't know if it's just me, but I was not impressed with this drama. After all the hype and everyone praising it, I went in with high expectations. The beginning was promising, but the more I watched, the more my interest faded. In my opinion, this drama is seriously overrated. To be honest, I never felt any attachment to the characters. I simply didn't care what happened to them. The storyline had potential, but the execution fell flat for me. Also, I couldn't vibe with Jong Hyeop at all – something about his performance just didn't click.
I made it to episode 7, then gave up and skipped straight to the finale. And honestly? I didn't miss much. The last episode basically summarized the entire story.
Verdict: An overrated, average drama that fails to live up to the hype.

1980s Charm and Fire Chemistry: A True Hidden Gem
1980s Charm and Fire Chemistry: A True Hidden Gem: Why You Need to Ignore the Haters and Watch This RomanceI have to say, the current MDL ratings are often frustrating, with so many genuinely underrated shows getting overlooked in favor of over-hyped rom-coms. This show, however, is one I truly fell in love with. The story was great, the production was excellent, and the experience was truly captivating.
The drama beautifully captured the essence of the 1980s, providing a rich, nostalgic atmosphere. The pacing is spot-on, allowing time to introduce the characters and their backstories so the audience can connect deeply with the storyline and understand their struggles.
Sure, the first part covering the older days was fun, but man, the second part really takes off! That later period transition is full of scenes that made me laugh so much, and the romance gets insanely good. I swear, whenever Jae Pil and Yeong Rye (YR) showed up, their chemistry was so undeniable I couldn't help but giggle with happiness.
The character dynamics are absolutely the heart of the show. The story masterfully introduces the characters, allowing you to get to know them and their struggles deeply, and I especially loved the sisterhood among the bus attendants. The relationship between them—and how their views on the world evolve—draws you in completely. Plus, characters like Jeong Hyeon, that pure soul who was always there for Yeong Rye, added so much warmth. Finally, I also absolutely loved the character of Sang Cheol; he was just so cute, adorable, and a great friend. I was so happy for him, and I'm thrilled he got the happy ending he deserved.
I love how this drama avoided all the usual romantic tropes. Even though both Yeong Rye and Jong Hui were in love with Jae Pil, the show never forced the love triangle or created unnecessary drama, which is so common in other shows! It was genuinely refreshing to see the best-friend dynamic handled with such maturity, keeping the relationship strong without the typical melodramatic arguments (except for that one understandable moment near the end!).
Jae Pil and Yeong Rye are hands-down my favorite couple; their chemistry is just on fire! They're both so pure, and watching them together made me giggle and laugh so much.
This drama took me by surprise, and I was baffled after reading so many negative comments unfairly criticizing the characters. This show is a testament to quality storytelling, and the drama wrapped up with a perfectly satisfying happy ending.

Mature drama with great acting.
It is a mature drama about relationships without sugarcoating. I was hooked from the start and could not stop watching it. The storytelling is great, as you will find out more about their past in each episode and understand them more. I don't know why the comments are so negative. I really like the drama. The acting is amazing. Also, the production and cinematography are great.
They did a great job with casting, as Hyun Jin and Gong Yoo are a perfect fit. I love their chemistry and the way they communicate with each other.
It will make you long for them and hope for him to get away from the toxic relationship. It will make your blood boil as well as it will make you happy to see glimmers of hope.
I recommend watching it if you want to see something totally different from a rom-com.

Do not waist your time! Total disaster.
What a disaster! The worst drama of the year. I cannot believe that it went from a masterpiece to a shit show. It only has six episodes, but I was checking how much time is left of the episode, and it seemed so long. I got bored, so I even started skipping scenes at the last episode. Even if you have a huge budget, it doesn't mean it will be a great show, and this drama is an example. The storyline was all over the place. I hated the scenes with VIPs as it was boring, and it did not fit the show. I don't know why, but I started to dislike no. 456 and did not feel any emotion at the end.
The best thing in the drama were the new games that were insane. Also, the great acting kept the boat afloat as the writing was very bad.
At least they could have kept Thanos alive until the end so he could keep the show interesting, as he did in the previous season.
Spoiler:
Looking for your brother for the whole two seasons, and in the end, you just say "Why?" Also, killing almost all main characters at the beginning, so at the end, there is a bunch of unknown characters except for a few.
The ending wasn't satisfying at all. I was expecting such a crazy plot twist that did not happen. Instead... let's have an American Squid Game to make more money!

A "10/10" for the cast, hindered slightly by the writing
After being blown away by Yoon Kye-sang in The Kidnapping Day, I went into this with high expectations—and he absolutely delivered. It’s a crying shame this isn't on every major streaming platform yet, because it is exactly the kind of show we need right now. There is something so special about the "Village Hero" trope. These aren't polished superheroes; they are your neighbors. They are the guys running the hardware store or the insurance office who just happens to have a "very particular set of skills." Watching them protect their community—not as soldiers, but as a family—is genuinely heartwarming. You’ll find yourself cheering for the entire neighborhood by episode three.
Yoon Kye-sang is in top form here. He has this incredible ability to be hilarious and relatable one second, and then completely terrifyingly skilled the next. The chemistry he has with the rest of the cast is the show's greatest strength. When they work together, the "family" vibe is so real you’ll wish you lived in Changri-dong yourself.
The show strikes a perfect balance. It gets serious when it needs to—the stakes feel real—but it never loses its sense of humor. Plus, the OST is a total earworm. It captures that "underdog energy" perfectly and kicks in at just the right moments to get your heart racing.
Is it perfect? Almost. If I’m being honest, the writing could have been a bit tighter. There were moments where the story felt like it needed a little more depth to match the high quality of the acting. If the script had just a bit more "meat" on the bones, this would be an easy 10/10.
If you can find it, binge it. It’s a superb weekend watch that will leave you feeling warm, hyped, and ready to move to a neighborhood where the neighbors have your back.

Beautiful, soft BL drama
This beautiful, slow-paced, and gentle BL drama follows the developing closeness and affection between two teenage boys, Tian and Wang, who are unaware of or unwilling to acknowledge their feelings for each other.I love the bond these two build over time. The way Tian always cares for Wang ❤️. Also, they do not need words to communicate.
The drama concludes as their journey of self-discovery is about to begin. I hope there will be a second season!

It is mind-blowing drama with a well-written script
My mind was left stunned as I watched the intense power struggle between Dong Ho and Soo Ji. It was incredible. When you think that there is no way Dong Ho will get through it, he finds another way.I could not stop watching as I was drawn to the story from the first episode.
The acting is superb, and the main leads did a great job. The drama is fast-paced, so you do not get bored even though it is about politics. It is a written masterpiece that will captivate you with its unexpected twists and turns.
The ending emphasizes the limitations of relying solely on truth in achieving victory.
After watching it, you realize...oh no, it is not fiction; this is the real world we live in, as corruption is everywhere, and justice is just a word because if you have money,
you have power, and if you have power, you are untouchable.
I am not even surprised that the rating is so low, as most non-rocom or non-famous handsome actors have ratings below or slightly above 8.

This drama will give you butterflies!
It is a really good drama and I wish they would make it a proper long drama so we could enjoy our couple more.I love the storyline as it is very engaging and it makes me giggle. Oh, and the kissing scene is just fire. The story unfolds really easily and basically, I was waiting for them to finally admit their feelings. I wished for a better ending to see them finally together.
The acting is great, you can feel the emotions between them.
Probably my favorite Korean BL drama.

Yim Si Wan…Wow what a amazing performance!!!
I am surprised that this drama is not more popular. It’s soo good!!The first half you gonna laugh and the second half is pure suffering.
The story was great. The only negative (enoying )is that I hated the sceens with Seona and wished someone would beat Jang up so he would come to his sense. Also he was getting too confident and cocky so the story unraveled as it should.
The end was so satisfying (not talking about the post credit sceen) Si Wan is amazing…the acting!! Can’t wait for season 2.

Hot Hot hot....but missing proper storytelling
10Dance is a movie that looks absolutely stunning on screen, but unfortunately, it doesn't quite reach the emotional heights of the source material. It feels like a beautiful shell that’s missing a bit of the soul that makes a great BL story.
If you’re here for the visuals, you won’t be disappointed. The dance sequences are incredible—stylish, high-energy, and shot with a lot of flair. You can tell the actors put in massive work to make those ballroom and Latin moves look authentic.
Also, can we talk about the Male Lead? (Whether you’re team Suzuki/Ryoma Takeuchi or Sugiki/Keita Machida). The "hot" factor is definitely there. The physical tension during the practice scenes is the strongest part of the film; that "silent" chemistry while they are dancing is way more powerful than the actual dialogue.
The biggest issue is the storyline. Because it’s a movie and not a series, the plot feels rushed and, at times, totally flat. We see them dance, and we see them "being hot," but we don't get enough of those quiet, intimate moments that make you actually care about them as a couple.
In other BLs, you're rooting for the leads to be together because you feel their struggle. Here, it feels like the movie relies too much on the fact that they are attractive and good at dancing, rather than building a proper emotional bridge. By the end, I wasn't as invested in their relationship as I wanted to be.
Watch it if you want a stylish, "sexy" movie with great choreography and handsome leads. But if you’re looking for a deep, emotional story that will stay with you, 10Dance might feel a little bit empty.

what a mess...not what I was hoping for!
Well... I thought that I was missing something, as I could not believe that everyone praised this drama and the rating was so high. So I kept persuading myself to keep watching, but at episode 10, I had to give up. I could not take it anymore, as the drama is so long. The storyline is so boring. The story is so overrated. There were some funny moments, but that is about it. It is basically a repetitive pattern: the villain hits them, and then Vincenzo hits them... They did not make it very interesting. To be honest, I did not care whenever any of the characters were killed. They did not know how to build suspense, atmosphere, and attachment to the characters. Especially, it has 20 episodes!
This drama is so overrated!
