it is not great & it is not bad drama

If you need a drama that is easy to watch this one is for you. Is is not great and it is not bad.

I have to say the first half was better as probably from 11ep it is getting a little bit boring. Is would be better if it had less episodes.

The acting is okay and of course the visuals of Koo Woo. The chemistry between leads is great!

overall it is a great drama if you want to watch something where you can just switch off and not use your brain.

Good drama - was expecting much more

To be honest I was expecting much more from this drama after I read so many great reviews. The first half was great but the second half started dragging the story and it wasn’t so interesting and I had to push myself to finish it. It is real shame as the story was great but not executed very well. After finishing the last episode I didn’t feel any joy or sadness as it haven’t leave any impact on me as other great drama did.

The acting of the main lead Ha Kyun was great he’s really good actor. He has done outstanding performance.

You cannot compare this drama to a masterpiece Mouse or Flowers of evil.

Coudnt get into it

I was really excited for this drama because the plot sounded so interesting – even though the ratings weren't great. And usually, low-rated dramas end up being the best hidden gems. But sadly, that wasn't the case here.

I had a hard time getting invested in the story, mostly because I really disliked Seok's character. He kept attacking Seol the whole time, and it completely ruined the drama for me. I tried to push through, but I gave up by episode 4.

Verdict: Great idea, poor execution. Couldn't finish it.

Great medical drama with a lot of action and humor, you won't get bored!

It has the best intro, love it! The drama is spot-on; it's bang, bang, bang..... action.
...medical surgery....humor (anus/no1)😀 . The pace is perfect; it's straight to the point, not wasting time with unnecessary plots and dialogues. I think it works so well because it has only eight episodes, and everything is sorted in a few minutes.

I was hooked from the beginning, and the drama went so fast. I finished it in one sitting. I love how Ji Hoon portrayed his character; he slayed the role (I read an interview in which he had a few conflicts with the director as he tried to put his ideas on how the comics should be conveyed as a drama), so I think he deserves credit for its success as well.

Also, I love how he slowly built his trauma team even when everyone and everything was against him. The acting is superb, as is the cinematography. I hope we will have another season soon.

average bl drama that could have been great if executed differently

The drama started with a unique and well-executed storyline but became confusing in the second half. To be honest, I had no idea what was going on—which storyline was the real one? What was happening? In the end, it all made sense, but it was kind of disappointing. Also, they could have done a better job of editing the scenes. It is a real shame as the drama started really strong.

On the other hand, the acting was superb, especially the second leads, Korn and Tonkla, who stole the show. The intimate scenes were 🔥

Overall, it was an average BL drama that could have been great if executed differently.

I do not like it.

The FL character is so annoying and I cannot stand her acting but I have tried to overlook it and kept watching. The drama is not getting any better as I read few comments that it will be better after first few episodes. To be honest I was looking forward to this drama as I thought it will be similar to Tomorrow which I love but it is not even close.
I could not connect to the characters and the only part I liked is the past life. I have tried so hard to watch the drama but I have dropped the drama at 5 episodes.

chaotic mess

I was expecting much more from it, as I was looking forward to this drama. The storyline is great, but the production and editing are not good. It would be much better if they made a proper drama, as it's basically a movie split into six episodes. So we could have proper storytelling that takes time, so you can feel for the characters instead of jumping from one scene to another.
The villain was my favorite character, as Hyun Wook portrayed him perfectly. I did not bond with the characters as it was chaotic, rushed, and all over the place.
Now I'm really upset, as the actors did a great job, but the execution is not there.
If they make a season three, I hope this time they will do it properly.

Disappointed with the storyline

I was so excited about this drama; the cast is great, and the plot seems interesting, but I was quite disappointed. The storyline was weak, and I had a hard time getting past episode 7, as the drama did not maintain my interest, and I did not connect with any of the characters. It is a shame, as the acting is great, and it could have been a great story if better executed. Once I stopped watching it, I could not bring myself to return to it, so I dropped the drama.

Great drama with beautiful storyline

I love this dramaI binge-watched it in a few days. The storyline is perfect, and I love that they did not force a love triangle as in other dramas. To see the relationship between Mi Ji and Ho Su is just so heartwarming, and I love that there is not some unnecessary "drama," but instead they concentrated on their development... beautiful. Also, it is nice to see how the family dynamics slowly changed. The interaction between Mi Ji and Gyeong is just pure laughter. It is just perfect.

The acting is great, and Bo Young did a great job portraying both characters. The production and cinematography are great.
It is a great comfort drama that you will love for their pure love.

Disappointed....story all over the place.

I didn't enjoy the drama as much as I had hoped. The beginning was promising, and the main female lead carried the show with her excellent portrayal of her character. However, the second half became increasingly ridiculous, with the plot taking a nosedive. It's a shame because the storyline had potential. Additionally, the romance between the characters felt forced and lacked chemistry. The behavior of the main lead was inconsistent and his character seemed poorly developed. As a result, I started to lose interest and found it difficult to stay focused on the show. Also the open ending was unnecessary.

A captivating drama that proves story is everything

I watched Blossom right after The Pursuit of Jade (which I absolutely loved). I was completely drawn into this drama from the start. The storyline hooked me so badly that I couldn't wait for the next episode.

Yes, the production quality isn't as high as some other big-budget dramas. But honestly? It doesn't matter. The story will captivate you completely. I could not stop watching.

Blossom is proof that episode count doesn't matter when the writing is this strong. I loved Song Mo and Dou Zhao as a couple—they always look after each other, and their love story feels genuine. I especially love how Dou Zhao is so strategic and always tries to help Song Mo with his revenge. It was so painful to watch how the odds are always against them and how the villains always strike first. But that just makes it more satisfying to watch every single one of them meet their ends.

The political intrigue is well written, and you will never get bored. It was also satisfying to see how certain characters developed compared to their past selves. My only complaint? I wish the drama was longer. Some storylines deserved more time to breathe.

But despite that, Blossom has one of the best storylines I've seen.

A mastepiece that stays with you

What an emotional rollercoaster! From start to finish, this drama had me completely captivated.

The cinematography of Meiwan Town is absolutely stunning—every frame felt like a painting. And the acting? Phenomenal. The entire cast delivered, but the leads brought something truly special to their roles.

This is a heartbreaking story that follows Hai Tang and Yi Xun, two souls shaped by similar pain. Life was never kind to them. The only time they found happiness was in each other's arms. No matter how hard they fought, they couldn't escape the cruel hand destiny dealt them. Their love was beautiful, tragic, and completely unforgettable.

I was glued to the screen. I cried so much, especially during the later episodes. That main song? The moment it started playing, my eyes would well up instantly. Their story was told with such care and tenderness—a love that lasted until their very last days.

If I have one criticism, it's the 2026 timeline. Compared to the 1991 storyline, it fell a little flat. I couldn't connect to the characters there the same way. The 1991 era, honestly, was pure masterpiece material.

I did appreciate the ending—they finally followed their dreams. And the magic postbox? I'm glad they never over-explained it. That mystery added something special: the quiet magic of the future reaching back to the past, without needing logic or justification.

This drama will stay with me for a long time. Love to Yi Xun and Hai Tang. 💓📮

Excellent business-focused plot and brilliant acting by Jun Ho and Min Ha)

I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this drama, especially since the online comments were quite negative. In my opinion, it is highly underrated! I loved that the main theme was the business world, and that romance—while present—wasn't the only focus.

The drama does a fantastic job of concentrating on the actual process of trading and business. It was great to see every stage of that journey. Watching Tae Pung struggle time and again was difficult, but seeing him find a solution to every problem was incredibly inspiring. It carries a powerful message: never give up.

The chemistry between the leads is excellent. It was wonderful to watch the team's journey; it wasn't easy for them, but seeing them evolve into a true family was heartwarming. Even the side characters were well-developed; you could really feel for them as they navigated the hardships of the business crisis.

Despite having 16 long episodes, I was never bored. I was hooked from beginning to end and finished it in just a few days! The chemistry between Tae Pung and Mi Seon (and especially the acting from Min Ha, who I loved in Way Back Love) was amazing. Their romance was a great addition to the story without overshadowing the business plot.

Jun Ho did an amazing job portraying his character; his acting was truly top-tier. He brought so much depth and emotion to the role that you couldn't help but root for him. His performance, combined with the amazing chemistry he shared with Min Ha, really elevated the entire script. It is rare to see an actor balance the toughness of business with such a genuine emotional heart.

With a great OST and plenty of moments that made me laugh out loud, this drama is a must-watch. If you are looking for a solid story about business and resilience where romance isn't the main factor, I highly recommend ignoring the negative comments and giving this a try!

Unexpected Excellence: This Joseon Drama is a Genuinely Underrated Gem

This drama is a stunning reminder that popular opinion isn't always right. Despite lukewarm comments and reviews, this series turned out to be a great show and a true example of a genuinely underrated drama. Viewers with low expectations will be pleasantly surprised to find themselves completely hooked from the very first episode. The only real negative is the restrictive nine-episode length, which leaves you desperately wanting more.

Brilliant Story Structure and Character Focus
The pacing is masterful, allowing the narrative to organically introduce each character without ever feeling rushed. Crucially, this is not a typical historical romance. The masterful storytelling avoids the usual sugar-coating, instead focusing on profound human connection. The story successfully focuses on four main characters, giving proper time to their individual views on the world and showing their compelling development throughout the run. This attention to detail ensures the audience forms a deep connection to the storyline, drawing you in until you genuinely feel for their struggles and triumphs.

A major emotional highlight is the development of the bond between Jung Si Yul and Mudeok and the rest of the group. Watching them transform into a true, protective family against external threats is the emotional core of the series.

Production, Acting, and Intensity
The series perfectly captures the reality of the Joseon era, boasting amazing production values and top-tier acting. Rowoon, in particular, delivers a powerful performance that successfully transitions him out of his usual romantic-comedy roles and establishes his strength in serious drama.

Furthermore, the drama doesn't shy away from its action. The fighting scenes are intense and exceptionally well-executed, adding a thrilling layer to the narrative.

Themes and Conclusion
An Authentic Joseon Portrayal: This drama is a raw, real portrayal of Joseon, skillfully depicting the harsh reality of the time. It showcases the daily struggle to survive for common people and the pervasive corruption among those in power. This unflinching realism, free from romanticized history, is a huge strength.

The story culminates in a perfect ending, delivering a satisfying payoff when the main hidden villain's elaborate excuse for their actions is exposed as completely false, reaffirming the integrity of the protagonists. This show is an intelligent, emotionally resonant ride, and we can only hope for a much-deserved second season!

thw only good thing in the drama is Park Hyung Sik.

What a disaster. I was hoping for a great revenge drama, and instead it's a boring drama that has no soul. The concept is good, but it fails at execution. It relies on the acting, but the scripts are so bad. It did not attract me from the beginning, but I thought, "Okay, I will watch one more episode as it may get better," but no. I did not really care about the characters except Dong Ju. I kept watching it for him.

I could not waste my time any longer and dropped it at episode 8 and skipped to the last one. The ending was not satisfying at all after he had to get through so much.
