if religious people like some muslims dont like this type of series because of their name or theme PLEASE DO NOT WATCH! its easy guys. stop spamming the rates please. this show is really good and well produced with good acting.
Finally different Bl scenario and also a good one. characters are too different from what we saw in bl dramas and I really admire this. Asahi has my heart.
I cannot stand even one episode to drop it. bad writing even showed itself from the first sequence.. idk why Long Shi doesnt improve his acting skills. maybe the company thought with changing his pair everything going to work but no bro.. the problem is deeper than that
I thought Im going to like it because of Yibo but in the end I found myself enjoying every scene of it. really meaningful, emotional, and really well made.
This drama is far better than it gets credit for. viewers might have dismissed it as slow, boring or unexciting drama because they were expecting the usual BL tropes. But starting from episode two or three, it becomes clear that this is more than just a BL. it’s the story of a man entering his forties, struggling with fears of aging, unfulfilled dreams, and the comfort zone that keeps him from pursuing the love he truly desires, which happens to be with another man. What makes this series a good choice to watch is its thoughtful character development and emotional depth. Instead of relying on clichés or rushing into romance, it takes the time to explore what it means to step into a relationship at a vulnerable stage in life. The directing, pacing, and performances were all solid, and the chemistry between the couple was good. If you’re looking for a character-driven BL with a slower pace and more substance than the usual formula, this series is absolutely worth watching.
The rating for this series could have easily been at least an 8. It was a good drama overall. The theme might have been a bit cliché, but the directing was really well done. Even though the story was predictable, it was still enjoyable and that’s what mattered. The couple was lovable, and I’m genuinely glad I watched it. I’ll probably rewatch it, too.
I just finished the series, and honestly, it’s one of the best BL dramas I’ve ever watched from Gmmtv. The…
Ps. I know Sarin and Great end up their partnership and I really blame some fans and the company. Nowadays It often doesn’t matter how well a series is directed, how carefully the scenes are crafted, or how high the overall quality is, fans tend to focus primarily on their favorite couple and their visuals. As a result, the voting and popularity often reflect fan preferences for pairings rather than the show’s actual artistic merit. Production companies pick up on this feedback and, in turn, invest more attention in the couples favored by fans. And like this.. we lose good couples with really good skills in bl industry. But im happy for them to choose wisely for their future. They both deserve best things. 🫶🏼
I just finished the series, and honestly, it’s one of the best BL dramas I’ve ever watched from Gmmtv. The chemistry between the main and second couple was amazing. I know some people might disagree, but for me, their chemistry felt perfect. The storyline was beautiful. Simple, sometimes slow-paced, without unnecessary drama, but I think that’s exactly what made it so charming and smooth to watch. Unlike many other BLs, there wasn’t an annoying, clingy female character, no childish misunderstandings, and no illogical jealousy. They talked things through like two grown men and solved their problems. There weren’t constant breakups or immature sacrifices for others, choosing to fight for their love instead of sacrificing it. The dialogues were brilliant, and in terms of directing, costume design, color tones, scenery, and locations, everything was beautifully done.Specially their skill to talk French was awesome. and also they use native french people and its really professional. The limited use of NC scenes was another strength, fitting the atmosphere of the story perfectly without overdoing it. Its suitable for the historical background of series.
also I loved the second couple and the way love pushed them to grow. I admired how Dech chose to stay with the person who made him feel good and helped him move forward.
Yes, everything ended well, but we know that in reality, couples back in those times didn’t often get such happy endings. I hope this series can serve as a small comfort for those who, because of society’s views, couldn’t be with the ones they loved. Thank you, Sarin,Great,Auo and Boom and other artists for making this historical theme series based on social disturbances.
His acting was fine. His chemistry with Kevin is good. Saying he looks straight is fine but to say he didn’t…
ofc its subjective!!!! because its my comment and my opinion dude. i dont write " in all people opinion" in my cm. so yeah its subjective and its my feelings. you have opposite feelings and its fine 🙏🏼
