Rational binger

This is so much better than the novel, which I struggled through about halfway, but eventually dropped. My girl isn't killing or mistreating her man for a very welcome change! She's strong, cunning and is serving revenge red hot to the bad guys, but she's also compassionate, caring and loving to the vulnerable. Totally relatable and adorable! This is just what the drama doctor ordered! To think I allmost decided to skip this😰

Honestly, I miss seeing him. He's such a good actor! I think I saw a YT short claiming he was blacklisted. Can't remember why. Not sure how accurate this info is, though. Hope he makes a comeback.

Am I the only one who gets antsy when they stand around talking during intense scenes rather than doing something?😁 Like during the palace coup when she was saving the prince she spent so much time talking while people were trying to hold the gate and I was just like, hurry girl, the bad guys are coming!! Enjoying it so far. Ranran, Gugu is rooting for you!

Its so annoying this voice dubbing cdramas do and very unnecessary too! Makes the characters sound so fake. I wish they would just stop.

I enjoyed reading your review, thanks. I stopped watching this actor's dramas with a romance tag, because he behaves as if his fls either want to grape him and he has to protect his chastity, or they have body odor and he's trying to repel them. It always ruins the fantasy for me. He's a good actor in other aspects and will watch his drama if it's a non-romance tagged, because frankly, that's all he should do.

I don't like the pairing either, so I skipped it. This actor played a deranged stalker of the fl's character in another drama. Seeing them paired together as romantic leads is just hard for me to swallow. Another ml or fl would've worked.

I enjoyed it. Isnt that what a drama is supposed to do, entertain the viewers? It's fiction, as in, fake. So don't understand what all the hoopla is all about. The fl's characterization as a CEO is what I thought people would complain about. Being rude and intimidating your staff does not a great ceo make, but I guess that's korean feminist 'strong woman' depiction. However, she portrayed the noveau riche social climber to the T! The ml looked amazing and was believable as royalty. The chemistry was just ok, even the kiss scene didnt make me blush. Usually I giggle like an idiot at a good kiss scene, but this was just perfunctory, nothing to write home about. The queen was annoying, so actress did a good job. The PM was hot and I'm not sure if i was drooling over him in glasses or the super cars or both😂 so pls enjoy the drama if you want. If you don't, there are others,dont be a hater. Cheers!

I've read the novel twice now and absolutely adore it. I hope this adaptation lives up to it. Excited!!!

If you don't mind very slow burn, longing on the ml's part romance then you're fine. Typically, I hate such tropes. Somehow, I didn't mind for this drama. I think I just liked the way he loved her. And I've liked the actress since love me, love my voice, so that made me watch. BUT the ending!!! Anyway, brace yourself, if you do decide to watch. Cheers!

Wow! I'm really happy for him!!! My favorite character of his, is still Xie Wei in SOKP. His acting was phenomenal in that! I still wish he and the fl in that marry irl😁 they're so beautiful together! POJ is also nice, but I feel he could've been given more space to display his acting scope and definitely, better fight scenes. However, his success is well deserved. I hope he ignores all the braying, envious and bitter people with empty and desolate lives, like the specks of insignificance they truly are and I wish him and the entire cast and crew a bright future ahead.

Agreed! I love his reckless impetuosity! He truly has some huge ones! I love how the writers didn't reduce him to a sniveling weakling. They're both strong in their own ways and that makes it doubly exciting for me. Also the way he coddles a cenutries older than him Nonna, is just so cute to watch😂its clear she's into him and struggling with it.
